I'd be willing to bet that since the dawn of time anybody who did a "field sobriety test" failed that test in the eyes of the tester.

100% agree. If they’re asking you for the sobriety test. You’re definitely taking a ride to get blood drawn after. Lol

Why is it funny to you when people point out better choices to make?

Did you even read my post? Drunk people don't make reasonable and sound decisions. It's funny that people constantly rehash the same stuff over and over.

If you're out in public and you drink to a point where you don't even realize that you're too drunk to drive, then I think it's time to consider that you may have a problem.

You realize the legal limit is .08 and you can be arrested for much less if they feel like it? This is where they trap so many people. .The legal limit used to almost twice this amount. It's an arbitrary number made up on what they consider too drunk to drive. Has zero to do with any science.

It does not take many drinks to get to .08 and many people can easily function under .08, driving included. If you think otherwise, then you would need to go back when the legal limit was way higher and .08 was seen as nothing to see here.

You are assuming he was blackout drunk and had no control over his actions and has a problem.

These clowns have plenty of people to give them a ride at the drop of a hat. The fact you put your career or life in danger when you have more resources than the average person tells you how stupid he is.

This thread just has it all. People already hating the suspension he may receive, apologists, and excuse-makers. It's got the whole lineup.

What if...and here's a big "what if"...but just what if he was just driving drunk and deserves whatever comes his way? Is that not an option? It's already going to be less (comparatively-speaking) than anyone on this board would receive. Be thankful for that.

So BAC has nothing to do with science and is a BS number? The guy admitted to drinking and driving so right there he was wrong. I am shocked the relaxed attitude towards drinking and driving.

The Policy on Substances of Abuse allows for a 5 game suspension for a DUI.

Recently, the League has been allowing the Justice system to run its course before suspending players. If that trend continues, he likely won't face suspension this season. Depends on how quickly these matters are adjudicated in the County the arrest took place.

He can easily get this reduced by his attorney.
