Granted he's not a good coach nor coordinator however almost anyone you throw into that position would fail miserably too.
Worst offensive line ranking the last 2 years running or damn close to it and off to another horrendous start. Plus throw in a young quarterback who turns the ball over constantly and you will not win many games.
Hard to cover when they're giving up almost 30 ppg. Might be one of the changes in the off season. Bad team and some draft picks to lure a new HC and GM.The Giants defense has given up the 2nd most points in the league at 177. They just flat out stink.
They’ve got talent though. Barkley, some good young WRs, Ingram, etc. IMHO Garrett offers zero coaching advantage and loses the strategy battle every week. It takes a stacked offense for Garrett’s “beat your man” game plan.
Worse decision: Splitting with Jimmy or giving the keys to Garrett for a decade?
I'd argue the latter. Handicapping a generation of talented players with this level of coaching is easily Jerry's worst decision.

He runs the closest thing to a pure Coryell in the modern NFL. If you don’t have the horses, it’s not going to be pretty.
"we'd hate for Garrett to go to another team, and for them to reap the rewards of his suckage" jerry jr. jones. They are both huge decisions Jerry is to blame for. Wasting Romo, Witten, Dez, etc on Garrett? Ooof.
And a new OC because i find it hard to believe Garrett will make it past this year.

They were healthy to start the year. Scored a whooping 13 pts in the opener. Any excuse for that game? They have zero talent at the skill positions except for their rookie wr Toney. OL zucks and their defense stinks too. Where should he be ranked with this garbage?!
Isnt Garrett supposed to improve them? He's an offensive geniusDidn't the Giants offense suck with the same players before Garrett got there? Just sayin...
It would be a help if the talent could stay on the field. Probably not the best strategy to play your recently concussed QB in the 4th Q of a blow out loss, either. They’ve got talent though. To be fair, you can't judge Jason until he has 11 Pro Bowlers on offense.
