Not at all related to Troy on the Ticket, but has a Super Bowl winner had an easier schedule than this in recent memory?

The only 3 real games IMO are Cowboys, Rams, and Bills. Their division schedule is a given, and it's not exactly a tough group. Indy is headed for the toilet, the NFC East is trash outside of Dallas, and the AFC East mirrors the NFC East with perhaps New England being a bit better. The Buffalo and Dallas games are/were at home too. Going to be tough for them to be ousted from the top seed.

Going to suck if we end up regretting game freaking one of the season as our homefield advantage tiebreaker. LOL

With the extra game, maybe the NFL should consider adding an additional bye week for rest. If I remember correctly, there used to be two bye weeks a season back in the olden days.
Good idea if we ever get to that 18 game schedule Aikman thinks is eventually coming.

Really? I rarely find anything he says to be insightful. Just a lot of generic stuff.

I would compare Aikman to maybe someone like Howie Long. Doesn't try and bring the goofiness or energy like Bradshaw, Irvin, etc.. Doesn't talk out of the side of his mouth like Rex Ryan or Jon Gruden.

Professional at all times. Good enough that he's past the generic sports talk - the "no doubt about it" guys. Thinks about his answers, admits when he doesn't know the answer. The only "bias" I ever see is he is obviously pro-quarterback.

In 1993 they experimented with 2 bye weeks. That was the only time.

late 90s early 2000”s, there were 31 teams. So,they had some odd bye weeks but can’t remember the exact set up. I think at least one team had a bye week as early as after the first week but not sure.

Forgot about that. As a greedy fan, I don't like them in general because my home team isn't on the air. But if the NFL were to go to 18 games, I know it's necessary for the players.

Yeah maybe the media wants them to win a few more but they have BLOWN OUT the rams, titans and browns. they're legit and that offense is a problem for teams.

The media has been giving them some love. They sure are going to be a problem. But so are we. That game that we have against them is going to be huge. They also will be against Green Bay in a few weeks or so.

If there is a team that gets an easy schedule it's Tampa Bay. Don't be surprised if they get the bye on default because of their weak schedule.

Well, Tampa Bay plays in probably the 2nd weakest division in football and they also get to play the weakest division in football, the NFC East.
