Just me, but the Vikes game will be a tough one. It's the first game so far I don't have a good feeling about us winning. We should be ok with the next 5 but this one, whewww
It'll be a shootout.

Also, we're still not sure if Dak will be playing or not, and if he does how limited and affected he will be.

Cousins is a top 10 QB and Cook is a top 5 RB.

I can see this being a race to 35 points.

This team barely beat a rookie QB in his 6th game with little at WR and a rookie RB, I believe.

Tyron went out with an ankle injury and Dak a calf injury. No one knows the status of those two players right now.

And some people are predicting 6-0, 5-2, etc.?

The Vikings are hard to read. They’re all over the place. They should’ve lost to the Lions. They have some good talent, but are one of the most inconsistent teams in the league. They can be very good and they can be awful. The key is to control Cook. We can score on them. Well, we can score on anyone.

Didn't know that......only studied their team stats.
Agree about Cook.......no question

I've actually said in another thread the game will either be a high-scoring or complete blowout by one team. Two elite offenses with shaky defenses =_____________

We could possibly win them all however teams like the Vikings, chiefs, and possibly even the Raiders might be difficult.

Depends on what Vikings or Raiders team shows up that week. Chiefs depend if thet finally put it together.

Nobody is picking 5-2 over 6 games … lol

Now, why not consider you are hinging this on just one game out of a 5-1 start to the season, and a game the team pulled out. You have to realistically understand even the best teams are going to have some tough games where they don't do as well as expected.

Cases in point ….

5-1 defending Super Bowl Champion Bucs also barely got by that same Patriots team.
Ravens are 5-1 and one of the top teams in the NFL this year, but barely got by the 2-4 Colts in overtime and only beat the Lions by 2
Packers are 5-1 but got blown out by the Saints to begin the season, and barely got by the Bengals and 49ers
Rams are 5-1 but barely got past the Colts

Do you see the point? Having a game or two where the win is tougher than expected happens even with the top teams and just reflects the nature of the NFL.

We are very similar teams. They might be the most similar team to us in the league.

Both have great QBs, both have great RBs, both have great WRs, and both have not trustworthy at all defenses.

They've been in every single game they've played this year. They are 3-3, but could just as easily be 5-1 or 6-0. If their defense was able to catch some breaks and force turnovers the way ours have so far then the Vikings would be looked at just the way we are I feel.

This is not going to be an easy game by any stretch. I could see us losing if Dak isn't fully healthy.

Tyron also re-entered the game and shortly after that blew open a big hole on one of the longest running plays. I think he is fine.

I agree. In part because the Cowboys have in recent years stumbled coming out of the bye. We needed the bye for the physical break, but ole mo is powerful and the bye breaks that.

Well said. Some expect 20 point blowouts in every game. The entire history of the NFL tells us the opposite. Winning is difficult. Consistently winning in a blowout fashion is impossible, especially on the road.

Why is everyone scared about the Vikings? You stop Davin Cook we win that game. They almost lost to Carolina. Surely, it's any given Sunday. But we stop Davin Cook and make it a shootout, I like our chances.

They could also be 1-5. Detroit had them beat and fumbled VERY late in the game and they beat Carolina in OT.

By the way, Cousins is NOT a great QB. LOL. He’s good, but he’s never been great.
