Listened to all the postgame interviews with players and coaches. This may be the blueprint teams try:

Against our offense:
- Focus on stopping the run by getting men in the box. Make the passing game work very hard.
- Play aggressive, match-up man against our WR and TE and hit them at the LOS - make it hard for them to get open. Don't play soft.
- Don't blitz - rush 3 or 4

Against our defense
- Run between the tackles and don't stop doing it
- Run crossing routes with the WR
- Don't be afraid to throw at Diggs - but throw it over the top and on crossing patterns

We shall see if we can beat this blueprint.

There is no "Blueprint". The Cowboys came out unmotivated and it showed. The Cowboys beat themselves and this was a total team loss. The blue print for the Cowboys from here on out is to not take anyone lightly and don't beat yourself.

I honestly think the offense can't be stopped unless Dak is off. That would have opened up the run game. As bad as our oline pass and run blocked today, there were still ton of opportunities in the passing game.

I think the book on Diggs is to use double moves. He is so aggressive that he bites on the first one. Agree with run and keep running against Dallas. We've all been wondering why teams have stopped running during games, but I think it's because our offense usually puts so much pressure on the other team to score quickly.

Thank you for your efforts here...nice post.
In the meantime, since we last played the Broncos in 2017(another kick@@@) the blueprint was set in stone.
STOP Zeke and win the game as our bus driving QB does not have the talent base to win exclusively with his very average arm talents!

It really must give you an emho when the team loses. Since you believe he has a very average arm, where would you rank the bus driver Bridgewaters arm?

Against who?
Exactly......and in those games from the refs to opponents' injuries galore, the winds of fate were on our side.
No contender goes 3 Q str8 without a single point esp at home with a .500 opponent!

Ok…. Where to begin with this garbage.

1992 Dallas lost badly to Philly 31-7. And then won the SB
1993 Dallas lost badly to Atl 27-14. And then won the SB.
1995 Dallas was swept by Washington and split with Philly (games they should have won) and got curb stomped by SF 38-20. And then won the SB.

Good teams, SB winning teams— lose badly throughout the year. The Bills just got suffocated by Jax for crying out loud! They managed 6 points— even with “garbage time” points being available (imagine that!).

If you are so “right” about this team being a joke— call your shot. What is their record this year? You disappear when they dominate teams and then like to pose as a “guru” who “told ya they sucked!” when they lose….. SO— guru— what is their final record in your opinion. Let’s mark it down so if you’re right— you really can “tell us so”…

Dak was off yesterday and the Defense played like last years defense.

It happens. There are those games that make no sense during the year when the team that should win gets smoked by the team that should lose.

You can find multiple games pretty much every season that it happens.

The worry is not one game where they got their butts whooped.

What happens going forward will be the deciding factor.

Will they continue to lose in a convincing fashion or will they got back to winning again.

I know some here were just champing at the bit for a loss or a poor day by this or that player so they could run in with the doom/gloom and trolling ways.

They can gloat.

I just wish that if we start winning again they don't running for the shelter of her mothers little helper and all but disappear.

Times like these test the metal of a team. It's happened to Staubach and Aikman led teams. It's happened to Montana and Brady led teams. The Cowboys came out flat and uninspired. It was evident from their body language from the start. Let's see how MM uses this game to make us better.

100%

Fangio is a great DC and he out-coached Kellen all day. McCarthy gave them early confidence and momentum that we never got back.

Dak and the offense was out of sync and just could not get any consistency.

Absolutely a disappointing loss. But they can absolutely bounce back from this. I am looking forward to seeing how this team responds to the humble pie.

It’s not even we worth the energy to try and analyze what happened yesterday.

Let’s see what happens against Atlanta. Yesterday was more than likely just a bad game.

Defenses have been stacking the box for years. We’ve been able to get away with it, because our OL is that good. The difference is, Smith wasn’t in and it exposed out mediocre QB, that didn’t have all day to scan the field.

The entire team was off and the coaches need to find a way to refocus. Hopefully they can use this as a reminder to work hard and focus every day vs every team.

Watch the game tape....it will be easy to refocus when they see how bad they looked....

I wouldn't be surprised to see a massive win against atl....something like 45 -16
