The Giants Special teams Head Coach is a disaster. Trust me, Garrett is a happy man right now. That ship is sinking fast. The only question is, who is going down with the ship?

Average QB + average RB + Below average OL + WR that are hurt all the time, and a defense that has fallen off bad since last year.

You make it sound like any team that’s above average in all those areas will be knocking at his door? The guy was fired twice in less than 2 years. That’s not good at all regardless of the circumstances!

I said carries from the beginning. Save your revisionist history attempts.

"And Garrett never used him when he DID have him.

It is pretty simple. Garrett sucks."

That wasn't you? You better notify the Mods someone else is using your account then... now who is the revisionist.. ha ha

Running back is in the job description.

One of the dumbest things you have said yet.. and that is an accomplishment for you.

IMO - too bland / boring too land a recurring analysis gig on tv (radio possible).
However...if Dallas makes the postseason in one of the top two spots...sports media will seek out Garrert for his insight and opinions because he gave Kellen Moore the opportunity to place him high up on the coaching ladder, and subsequently put him on the fast track to a future HC position (pro or college).
And add on his long association with the Cowboys franchise.

Was confused by the hiring. I remember saying something along the lines of "Garret is the only tenured head coach in the NFL that if got fired would receive zero offers for coordinator, he would only get offers for front office or positional coach"

Guess I wasn't far off, he got one offer from a joke organziation and even then lasted like a season and a half.

Actually, that was Linehan.

If this doesn't prove how much of an idiot Jerry Jones is than I don't know what else.
Jerry is 7 and 3 and in 1st place. The Giants have 7 losses and are in last place.

Care to tell me what I was wrong about and provide the post?

Are you going off topic now?

if you insist. Yep, you were the genius that said pitts would go off and he was the #1 offensive weapon for the Falcons. A whole thread on it.

but back to the topic at hand........Garrett! Yawn.........thanks for playing.

I thank Garrett for his attempts to sabotage the Giants for the Cowboys for as long as he could. I wish him well in the future and hope the Eagles or Washington hires him.
