RHG looked awful yesterday in every closeup, like he knew it was coming. The Giants are so bad I don't think a new coach or new anything besides players is going to help.

Garrett was a bad coach here and it was a miracle he found an organisation dumb enough to take him on.. The bit that scares me is that they only took 1.5 seasons to work out how bad he was.. are the Giants finally getting their stuff together?

As to Garrett.. I'll never forgive him for ruining our best chance at success in 2 decades.. Romo, Witten, Dez, Murray, Ware.. I could go on.. we had talent.. we had the talent.

Sadly we are still paying for his worst mistake.. and that was convincing Jerry that Dak was an elite QB.. we are now stuck with a bus driver taking 25% of our cap and not a single defence in this league is even remotely worried about him anymore. The word is out on Dak and it is only going to get tougher. Damn you clapper.

to be quite honest

I loved Garrett in 2007 and thought his offense was the best thing ever

then in 2008 i saw it wasnt his offense it was the talent we had because the scheme was outdated and predictable

so from 08-19 was a lot of frustration on my end

i couldnt understand why they kept him so long

Goes to show that fans are sometimes right. So many here criticized Garrett as too conservative and stuck in the past, and we were considered extreme. Yet his next job after Dallas proves exactly that. It wasn't the players. It wasn't Linehan. It was Garrett. He didn't change a thing and the results stayed the same.

Name a coach that could have run a successful offense with the piss-poor talent that the Giants have on offense. I didn’t like Garrett as the HC in Dallas anymore than the rest of the fanbase, but I try to be fair when criticizing him. I figured that his days with the Giants were numbered when he took the job. They have absolutely no talent on offense and it would take several drafts and free agent signing to build their offense to a competitive level. It is a bad situation for any coach to have success.
He didnt go on a run with all the talent in the world in Dallas so he just sucks

Wade is such a chill dude.
I doubt this event even registers with him.

Never know though.
I doubt it. He has been fired too.

He was the worst casualty of that era.

Jones thinking just anybody can be coach of the Cowboys. Learned hard with Campo, then smartened up, then to Phillips who was just glad to be there and then went down a poor path for ten years for his boy.

Wild ride.

Wade give no shiv to this.
He just likes having a job.

I’m fairly certain him and Chip Kelly wont be in the nfl again. Actually had to google chip to see where he is now and at UCLA, I can say I would never want any player going there so chip can run them into the ground with conditioning. Garrett ha, good luck hand clapper. The nfc east has had some dosie head coaches.
