I’ll take any of these players along with Neal OT from Bama and the OT from NC State. That being said I believe none of these players will be there at 32.
Neil will be a top 5 pick.

Devin Lloyd = poor man’s Micah Parsons. LB Utah.

I want em both.

I like Floyd but he’s not in the same stratosphere as Parsons as a prospect…

If Parsons is sticking at LBr we already a great young duo with him and Cox moving forward. I’m not taking a LBr early unless it’s a special, special dude and I don’t think there is one in this class.

All my favorites will be top 5 picks.
But where we sit at the moment I would love to get DeMarvin Leal
DT from Texas A&M .
Or Jordan Davis DE from Georgia.
Both will probably skyrocket up the draft board.Anyone I want always flies up the draft board. Teams eventually see what I see.

I would also throw Tyler Linderbaum into the mix if center remains an issue.

I would actually be fine with trading up to bag Davis. I think he could be the type of player that could vault this defense into the top 10 conversation. I also think we are in an ideal position to build an absolute monster of a unit on that side of the ball with Diggs and Parsons leading the charge. If we could get another difference maker or two on the D line and maybe upgrade at safety we could be looking at a new doomsday.

You think Cox is great and is gonna be great from day one coming off an ACL?

Dude….Davis is 26 years old.

I think Cox was a fantastic pick and great value. I think he can develop into a quality starter for us.

LBr is a low value position…I’m not using premium draft capital on one unless it’s a special player (like Parsons).

That same logic at DT and S has given us no impact DT’s or S’s for the last 10-15 years. They’re “low value” positions.

That’s a completely different argument IMO…I’d argue that we’ve had the opportunity to draft really good players at those positions in the 2nd round the last few years and we just haven’t made the right pick.

BPA at OT, OG, DE, DT or FS. Doesn't matter which position, really.

Throw in CB…but yea, I don’t think we have to force need at all early in the upcoming draft. Take the best players with our first few picks and good chance it’ll make sense for need too.

Stephen Jones has outright said that because we have expensive players on OL and at skill positions they don’t value safety highly cuz you can’t pay every position top money. It’s obvious they handle the DT position the same way….unless they have a shot at a Donald typed player of course.

That’s fair…that’s poor decision making then for those positions as we should’ve taken DTs/Ss in the 2nd/3rd in some of the recent drafts.

My main point is in the 1st, even top 50ish, though you should be targeting the higher value positions unless the other player board is a much better talent.

Picks like LVE, Jaylon, all the TEs in the 2nd etc we’re bad picks IMO for that reason.

Ok well that changes things! I would not trade up for a 26 year old player, but I think we would be hard pressed not to make the pick if he fell down into the late 20s or 30s (where we will most likely be drafting)

The high first round buzz is crazy to me. He’s a solid 1T but he’s a 2 down nose tackle…. Def not someone I’m taking in the first.

Its an awful DT class.

And NFL D’s are in nickel 60% of the time.
