The guy is great and has completely dominated every level he has played on, incredible HS, amazing NCAA and as of right now the best RB in the NFL. Anyone not seeing it doesn't know the game

As of right now....1122 yards 5.4 avg and 13 TD's...that gives him every HS season, every NCAA season, every NFL season with over 1000 yards, wow~

Now it seems everyone is picking up on PRINCE Jonathan Taylor something I've known about since his HS track days.

Herschel Walker, Marcus Dupree, Bo Jackson, Jonathan Taylor, over 220 and a sprinter.

Yeah that was a virtuoso performance by him yesterday. Very impressive indeed. Love that the coaches never stopped giving him the ball.. He had 5 series yesterday where they gave him the ball at LEAST three times in a row. If they got 2 or 3 on first down, they just said, so what and ran it again. THAT is how you ride a horse.. Looking forward to more!!

That is.....latering up....as we talked about, he is young he can't handle the load. Dude had a TON of work at Wisconsin, that is his thing.

Perfect blend of size and speed, and has enough wiggle.

Only two seasons in the NFL and he's already doing historical type things.

Five TD's in a game, only 4 others have done that
Colts most yards in a game
Two 1000 yard seasons to start the career, about 10 on the list

What gets me is this...

Over 4000 yards in HS, over 6000 NCAA yards, and now over 2000 NFL yards, wow!!!!

What fascinates me about this is that it's not really a big number.. Are you sure that's correct? Didn't Derrick Henry finish his high school career with something like 12,000 yards? I mean it was some STOOPID number.. Emmitt Smith got to almost 9000 in his high school career as well. Some of those guys just look unfair against high school competition.. Some weird rule changes in Florida started allowing 8th graders to play with the high school varsity. I don't know if any other states do that.. Fred Taylor's son was the first one I heard about doing it. I think he put up pretty good numbers too.. but I still don't like it.. Then again it probably would have been even more unfair to have him playing against other junior ballers.

Henry had crazy HS numbers, as did Emmitt and most NFL guys, Taylor put up over 4000 in just two years.

With everyone all worried about safety hard to believe 8 graders in with HS kids. my dramatic growth spurt was from 8 grade to HS.

Taylor is getting noticed now, people are finally picking up on what I have been following since his New Jersey track days. Took long enought.

Hell, have actually heard MVP talk.

Apparently he's a very bright guy, actually could have played in the Ivy League, he had the grades. Seems to pretty much have it all, the total package.

Oh don't even.. that guy against Ivy League defenses would have been completely unfair. They typically do not have an answer for speed. They had a hard time with me and I was 75 pounds lighter.. He might have put up 3000 yard seasons.. I've never longed to be any taller but I do wish I would have filled out to my eventual 190 pound body while I was playing in college. Assuming I could have done it without losing any speed I think I could have just wrecked the Ivies!!!

He was all set to attend Harvard, but a visit to Wisconsin and Big Time football changed his mind.

Calvin Hill the stud Ivy Leagurer

Ah, hell, that should have been you, didn't you say ya ran a 4.2 40?

Love seeing all this with Taylor

The former Wisconsin Badger, who ranks sixth all-time in rushing yards among NCAA D-I backs, has now recorded 100-plus yards from scrimmage and at least one rushing touchdown in eight straight games. That ties the longest such streak in NFL history (Lydell Mitchell, 1975/1976; LaDainian Tomlinson, 2006).

Should he find a way to the end zone next week, he'll etch his name into the NFL's history books as the first player to score a TD in nine straight affairs since Shaun Alexander in 2005.

Think if JT had went to Harvard. I can see it now....

ESPN....There is this running back at Harvard who scored 9 rushing TD's and gained 546 yards vs Cornell. That coming off a 7 TD 478 yard performance last week against Dartmouth, Who is this guy and why is he playing at Harvard? Apparently he's around 225 pounds and a two time New Jersey state 100m champ. Think we need to keep an eye on this guy,

Michael Pittman is another young draft pick weapon they really hit on. Keep Wentz upright protected and healthy with Taylor & Pittman they can be a factor down the stretch especially with Henry out in Tenn.

If Taylor had gone to Harvard those numbers might not be too far off. Coach Murphy is a pass first guy but I have to assume he would have been smart enough to change it up and hand it to that beast! The cool thing about the Ivies is that enough guys have made it in the league that it no longer a given that you won't get a look from the NFL if you go there. When I was playing there might be two guys in the entire league deemed NFL worthy.. Now there's two or three on every team.

Took him awhile to get going, but only because he wasn't getting the ball.

Well that would change....16 carries 83 yards which is what....5.3 average vs the top run stuffing team in the NFL, yep....stud1

Emmett gained 937 yards his rookie season, a weak 3.9 average, 11 TD

JT had 1169 rookie yards and a gaudy 5,0 average, also 11 TD

In his second season he gained 1563 yards, had a 4.3 average and 12 TD's.

JT has 1200 yards right now and better than 5.5 average and 13 TD's,

Bottom line is JT is doing more than what Emmett did at the same stage of the career.

And.....JT is simply a better runner than Emmett, and was at every level.

Dude, Emmitt had over 4000 carries, his average per carry....4,2. Any RB with 4000 carries will have the yards.

Taylor more impressive in his first two seasons than Emmitt was, just the facts. Already has more TD's.
