Darren Waller fumbled that ball

Bull. Teams in the NFL are too evenly matched to overcome rampant referee tampering.

The Raiders got 7 first downs from penalties. SEVEN! Most of those on third down, when they would have had to punt. On top of that there was a 65 yard differential in penalty yardage, plus the fumble-call debacle.

Yoo hoo, T-RO. You never answered my yes/no question. Did Waller take a 3rd step per your summary rules posted?

How does that old boxing saying go? "Never leave it in the hands of the judges." That means get in there, knock him the *** out and leave no doubt.

So again...suck less.

Here are the DECEITFUL aspects of the NFL's handling of that fumble play.

  1. Refs clearly DID NOT whistle the play dead. There is no debate about this.
  2. Hocculi LIED when he announced the call on the field was an incomplete pass. All America saw it treated as a completion/fumble.
  3. The league utilized a "call from New York". As veteran retired referee Terry McAuley tweeted tonight about the play, using "Replay Assist" in that manner... is in violation of stated NFL policy.

I saw three steps. What's interesting is that the NFL could have allowed America to see the play from multiple angles in slow-mo. Why was the NFL afraid to let America see those replay angles with slow-mo? Why is the NFL hiding? The refs stopped the game for 35 penalties, why such a desperate rush to move to the next play?

People that try to hide things...are LIARS.

No. Your emotion saw 3 steps. Nobody else here did. Your last sentence is cool irony though. Thanks for confirming. Lol.

Unlike some, I don't get perk$ and favor$ for posting my opinions on the matter, or trying to manipulate public opinion, so I'm done here.

America knows it was sleazy. A former NFL referee shared scathing posts on the gross negligence of the officials. Cowboys ownership and coaches knew ahead of time the refs would take over the game, and decide the game. They talked about more than a little, as we've learned.

Couldn't stop it from happening.

They can challenge if it was complete or not.

The rest of it is not challengeable.

You want Mc to throw a flag to maybe make that a 1st down for the Raiders. Coulda sworn Steratore laid that out clearly **.
You're saying you can't challenge whether a ball was fumbled or not?

Go to the 12 second mark . Only a blind man could say that Waller was already running upfield at the time he caught the ball, and as Mr. Marcus the man who knows the rule inside and out said in his definition of turning up field the recieiver has to have his back turned to the defender, and Waller clearly ha his back turned to his defender. Well at the time Darren Waller catches the ball not only is he running parallel to the sidelines as again you state is neccessary and not up it, but he has he his back turned away from Kearse in fact his whole upper body including his head is turned away from Kearse and back toward Carr as he looked the ball in while running parallel to the sidelines .( I'm not sure that's the right term here but I sucked at geometry myself - more accurately I just didn't care).

If You slow it down enough you can spot the precise moment the ball is caught (or at least hits waller on the numbers) and it's clear that both of Mr. Marcus's requirements for turning up field are met- Waller has his back to Kearse and is running parallel to the sidelines..For the record I would say running straight across the field before turning up field, which mean Waller was in fact turning up field.

You may have to slow down and move than timer yourself in small segments but when you find that segment its' undeniably clear.

Oh that's rich You asking someone else to answer your question,. I have asked you multiple times where the rule states anything about three steps and you just lack the courage to admit the rule as written doesn't say that or that rule as written and doesn't differentiate from staritng to take and taking a third step. Go ahead show me mr "I know this rule inside and out" instead of harrassing others because you're too chicken **** to try and prove your point since you know you actually can't.

I already posted a more complete video that has all this and more.

But let's take a look at the rules again and I'll highlight another pertinent part of this rule here in red yet again since you are reading comprehension-deficient.

RULE 8 FORWARD PASS, BACKWARD PASS, FUMBLE
ARTICLE 3. COMPLETED OR INTERCEPTED PASS. A player who makes a catch may advance the ball. A forward pass is
complete (by the offense) or intercepted (by the defense) in the field of play, at the sideline, or in the end zone if a player, who is
inbounds:
(a) secures control of the ball in his hands or arms prior to the ball touching the ground; and
(b) touches the ground inbounds with both feet or with any part of his body other than his hands; and
(c)
after (a) and (b) have been fulfilled, performs any act common to the game (e.g., tuck the ball away, extend it forward, take
an additional step, turn upfield, or avoid or ward off an opponent), or he maintains control of the ball long enough to do so.

So after Waller gains control AND takes 2 steps, does he then turn up field? No. In his 2 strides, he is moving in the direction of the offense. Per these very clear rules you cannot turn up field as a football move until AFTER you perform parts (a) and (b) of the rule. Again, if you're already moving in the direction of the offense, you are not "turning" in that same direction. So this is where if you're a ref, you look for a 3rd step unless a defender holds him up and then you make the "control of the ball along enough" determination. "Turning upfield" is not meant for receivers already running forward. It is for situations like I said already where a receiver is facing the QB for a catch (like a standstill leap to make a catch) and turns or is moving parallel and is able to take 2 steps and then turns.

Still in the abyss. As long as you demonstrate that you don't know what was going on there in my discussion with someone else, there is nothing to answer. I keep saying to go back and read but you don't want the answer apparently.

Still wading in the abyss. Until you go back and read to even know what was being said, I'm afraid nothing can be done for you. Let me know once you figure it out.

You are lost. Seek help. I suggest a psychological or religious discipline that starts with reflection and core human values.

You have ZERO answer for a simplest question:
Why was the NFL afraid of a transparent replay and review process that America could watch? Why did the league choose to censor and suppress a replay and review?

And I would add: why does MarcusR suddenly and repeatedly appear in all these referee threads...you always going to herculean efforts to defend the league's refs and reputation?

Hmmmm.... Soooo very interesting if one starts to think about it.

What surprising magic! A new poster appears with no history on this site...all so eager to defend Marcus's every word.

The games and manipulations that some people will try!

It was two steps. Well, two and a half, okay.

Still a fookin stupid call, but should have been a fumble, then challenged by the Raiders and then probably reversed.

This way it set the tone for the game. Don't cross the line for even a millimeter or we call it. Too bad we crossed it so many times.

And I would add: why do you go to such mammoth efforts to defend the league's refs and reputation? Soooooooo very interesting if one starts to think about it.

The only lost people are you tinfoil folks so traumatized by Cowboys losses that your stories you make up have you mistaking your front end for your rear end. Don't know what censoring you're talking about where a "transparent replay and review process" takes place. All the while you have slo mo replays blaring on the TV and you think things are hidden? Wouldn't it make more sense for the NFL to tell networks to simply not air replays or just do them at regular game speed so folks can't see anything? Why are CONSPIRACY! stories so far removed from logic and complicated leaps that don't make sense half the time? And why do they never require a shred of proof to be so?

And I'm not pro-ref, I'm anti-whining. Sure, call refs out when they miss calls but when people are whining about calls where they themselves don't understand the rule at play is just pile-on whining as an added excuse for a LOSS. So I show up with video and rules to see if people will stay in their stances once they're shown a call was actually correct or a good no-call. And they don't disappoint. I mean, heck, you say you saw 3 steps. Literally no one objecting to the call in this thread says Waller took 3 steps. So you see, when I pinned you into a corner, you simply lied to keep to your stance. And yet you accused me of making stuff up and accuse the NFL of being shady? Freud himself would be proud of this projection demonstration. Quite interesting.

So many words, so little truth. Why did the league block replay process that would have permitted multiple angles and slo-mo?

Answer the damn question.

Bro, how many angles did you want? Weren't there like 3 that the broadcast showed? Lol.

The real question we're getting off of though is why did you lie when I asked you about the rules?

VPNs with multiple login accounts is magical, isn't it?

Your little brother sounds a bit too much like you though. Try changing up your syntax and vocabulary if you want to be believable.

This is the problem with tinfoil. You get reception everywhere you look.

Sorry, but if I wrote like that, I'd punish myself by reading War and Peace multiple times to gain vocabulary, lol.
