Obviously the game started out legit, so when did it go from a sport to sports entertainment and rigged?

1996, when we couldn't win it all every .... single .... year. That's when defense mechanisms were necessary to deal with the teasings from buddies and frienemies that "Dallas isn't the best anymore." Then, just like magic, refs hate us and so too did the commish, coming off the NFL's most glorious period ever with us on top. Logic, of course.

Well didn’t an NBA ref go to prison “ fixing “ calls . And in the “ 50’s “ college basketball had a gambling Fix scandal and Pete Rose while managing his team had the bookie with the the phone number to the dugout and nothing is impossible.

After watching Dallas get 166 yards in penalties with Zeke getting a 6 game suspension for “ alleged “ complaints I don’t know that Roger Goodfella seems shaky like he’s got Ray Liotta ready to break knee caps .

And don’t forget the 1919 White Sox. We had the Ohio St / Colts Qb Art Schlesinger who was banned from the NFL with his gambling association.

And why the league has always distanced itself from gambling not even allowing players to make some sports appearances in Vegas. Romo had his hand slapped for an appearance.

Heck now you have a team in Vegas . The players are right in on it. What happens in Vegas stays in New York according to the memo

Just about the time this team named the Patriots started making SB appearances…

Perhaps the money is so huge now playing that gambling isn’t as much of a concern for key players to throw a game.

A NBA ref was busted a few years back for shaving points. Why is it hard believe that NFL refs are making calls/no-calls to manipulate games??

Parsons was held dam near every play Thursday night and not a single flag was thrown. That's just one example. Dak's no score when he's laying in the end zone from the waist up. The evidence is there but you don't want to see it.

NE / Tampa Super Bowl would be the narrative the NFL wants this year. If that happens, I'm in.
I’m sure they have their preferred but the fact is the NFL is a cash cow regardless who’s playing.

Protecting the shield and integrity from congressional oversight and public perception far outweighs any slight increases in revenue from preferred teams.

I don’t think anyone is saying it’s not possible . There’s just been no evidence . Not one whistleblower or investigation. Amazing.

When money and power are involved there is always room for corruption. I’m sure it’s not quite wwe predetermined in all games but it definitely seems there is a bigger agenda being served with the flow of these games. It’s more like watching an nba game than wrasslin.

If anyone could ever present any evidence it would be worth a fortune and fame.

It's in your face. Open your eyes and look. There is evidence you just don't want to see it.
If that’s the case then everyone from owners to players and officials are complicit. Why would everyone turn a blind eye?
