Most analysts I listen to think he should be an edge rusher, I think if you took a straw poll of GM's 70%+ would indicate this should be his position based on the comments I have heard.

Certainly like to see a switch to 3-4 next season as our base

Jeremiah can buy his own team and then do whatever he wants. Parsons is far more disruptive as a joker chess piece because he can literally attack from anywhere and can screw up an entire offensive scheme by simply forcing them to always have to find him and adjust their blocking calls to account for him. If he's on the edge all the time you just chip with a back or a tight end and that's pretty much a wrap. Yes he might still get a ton of sacks.. but not nearly as many TFLs and other plays in space.. And against top tackles he might not get anything at all. I mean I don't think the kid on the Chargers was all that impressed with him.. and he is a fellow rookie.. Imagine what a talented vet will do to him..

What was Lawrence Taylor? He was not a DE ? But they found a way to get him after the qb. I think you could use Parsons the same way. ESPECIALLY with Gregory and tank on opposite sides of the line.

Yes, I would seriously consider using the 3-4 as the base defense. I'm building the defense entirely around him.

In fact, I'd make them all get matching Sace tattoos. Anyone who refuses gets cut and double bicep flexed out the building.

As many have said.. Nearly everyone’s base defense is a nickel.

Just tell Micah to stand up and magically he’s asked to be Von Miller and not Demarcus Lawrence.

Micah is in a good spot right now. The one advantage he has over other pass rushers is he can move around and find the best matchups to exploit. Yes, Parsons is outstanding on the Edge, but he's a good blitzer and rusher on the inside also. I much rather him stress the protection from multiple areas than just one point.

Either way #11 makes plays...he just needs a few teammates to join the party.

Yeah that's true too. If you make him a full-time end you eliminate his versatility.

Just rush the passer the majority of the time. Don't become an off ball LB just because Lawrence and Gregory are back. That's all I ask.
