If the Cowboys lose tonight you might as well stick a fork in them. If Taysom Hill is the starter tonight for New Orleans and he has a big game this Cowboys team isn’t worth a crap! Just a few weeks ago when the Cowboys were winning fans were talking about this team being special and better than any of the Cowboys teams since their last Super Bowl win. lol This team has lost as many games as the 07 and 2014 teams and it already has more losses than the 2016 team. If the Cowboys have any chance of coming out of this tailspin it has to start tonight.
with 5 left almost all division or conference games you tripping.. theres plenty of room to make the playoffs via a division win..

stick the fork where the sun dont shine.this is not a season ending loss..Just like a win is far from locking anything up..we need it yes but stick fork in it LMAO emotional ladies in here..

I didn’t say if they lose tonight it’s a season ending loss but if they can’t beat a struggling Saints team that’s lost 4 straight games who are they going to beat? If the Cowboys don’t feel a sense of urgency after dropping three of their last four games when are they going to feel it? It’s not like they have any pushovers left on their schedule. They have to play Washington twice and they’ve won three in a row. They have to play Arizona and they’re still winning without Kyler Murray and DeAndre Hopkins. Beating the Giants on the road isn’t going to be easy, the Cowboys haven’t had an easy win on the road this season. It’s going to be like walking into a hornets nest in Philly the last game of the season if that game means anything. When I say stick a fork in them if they lose tonight I’m talking about the Cowboys having any chance of success in the playoffs. Chances are they’ll make the playoffs unless they lose out but they won’t get far.

Truth be told a loss tonight changes little. The Cowboys would still be assured of the NFC East lead and the 4 seed through the week and still have to play WFT twice and the rematches with Philly and the Giants.

But it's time to start gaining back some of the separation they used to have, and a win tonight leaves a lot more room for a potential slip up in the coming weeks. I don't want to have anything hanging in the balance the last few weeks of the season. 8-4 would feel light years better than 7-5.

thats your perception and I fully agree we need a win desperately but just because they were struggling doesn't mean they cant put up a fight at home with a pretty healthy defense , that crowd, and SP at the helm without or HC or OL coaches etc..if they find way to ugly this up, slow it down , keep it low scoring, its a tough task to win..

dont disrespect or down play another NFL team just because the apparent weaknesses..they are wounded wolf gnawing their foot off to get out fo trap and survive in their forest with the alpha running things and they can still bite..On primetime this is their statement game, there way to look good on national stage.

i realize the importance of winning all of the next 6 but winning out will be tough and which ones we lose , well not important as winning the division games..

if we lose theres time to get it back straight with all the division games ahead..

so what 6 games left

lose to NO and AZ but win the division games we are still in the drivers seat.. or any combo of them lose in NO win az lose to NYG not big deal..

i get it we all as fans and team need win to just get the monkey off our back..

I didn’t say the Cowboys or either team won’t put up a fight. You don’t seem to be comprehending my point. I don’t downplay or disrespect other teams. The Saints or any one left on our schedule is capable of beating us. The Cowboys are also capable of winning any of their remaining games but they’re not playing well. December has arrived in if they’re going to right the ship it has to start tonight.

I agree but the tone of these threads is we should route them and if we lose its over its not rather dismantle wft the next game which more important and we will have many top starters back and hopefully our coaches.

we need them all but far more important division games coming up..winning this one for sure lessens the pressure on the next one i get that, in that sense a big boost comes from win..

We can't beat a run down beat up Saints team we might as well put the tent down and move the Circus out of town. Makes no sense not to really walk over this team tonight. NO EXCUSES for Dak, coaches ,team! Period! But I think we still need to get another coach in here. You look at past Super Bowl winners or even NBA winners. What did they all have in common??? Great Head Coaches! I don't care what you have on the field. If you don't have a great head guy running it? You can forget it. I don't think McCarthy is a great coach. And for me Kellen Moore is the most overrated OC in the history of overrated Oc's. Pass happy. Redzone clueless to name a few. And if this defense can't shut down a beat up offense with a quarterback who hasn't played in months. We might as well take the tent down. It's time for Dallas to step up for once and beat teams they should. And beat them well. Tired of the EXCUSES!!!! Get it DONE!!!!!

It took me ten years here to bother to change my avatar from standard issue.

If they lose tonight I can't realistically stay with status quo....and I'm gonna be way too hungover to fix it tomorrow in that case....

Just win the damn game. How hard is that??

My goodness.

Losing tonight would put us in danger of being a mediocre Jason Garrett like team .....

There is absolutely no reason or excuse for losing to a depleted NO Saints team.
Regardless of the enthusiasm of the crowd and Saints team, a team with the talent Dallas has and the playoff aspirations they possess, losing tonight would be unacceptable.

Coaching matters.
Well, maybe not in this game.

But I agree.
No excuses, especially from the quarterback who has to be the leader of this team, particularly the offense.
As he says, they're "pissed" and "hungry."
Here's a urinal. Eat up.

I agree. I don’t see Wash winning out either . Just saying .

I’m not sure we are that good . Offensively we are when everyone is healthy but that’s not enough against better teams .

And Wash is beginning to play like a better team than they were . Amazing how good defenses start to take shake this time of year.

I could certainly be proven wrong, but I don’t get all the sudden talk of WFT winning out.

You can forget about it because you're a well known quitter. I won't give up on the team if they lose tonight. What a loser mentality.
Agreed. They are literally saying to quit the rest of the games if we lose. 100% loser mentality.

Most of the fans here got their expectations way too high during the Cowboys winning streak. They convinced themselves this team was special and different from all the other Cowboys teams that have disappointed in the past. There’s still six games left and the Cowboys still have a chance to have a successful season but they have to start turning things around tonight to avoid a major collapse.

Coming off two losses. No Kamara and no tackles…. No real quarterback. If the cowboys lose tonight it’s a bad look. You’d have to seriously question whether they are contenders at all.

to be honest this game shouldn’t even be a close win.

So is Bruce Arians a great HC? In ten years as a HC, he had 1 playoff win till last year when he won it all.
Average coaches can win it all, if they have enough good players and things fall into place.

i tried to be the VOR brah all during the streak, i tried calming people down and knew we wouldn't steam roll our way to like 14-3 like most were predicting. all the reward, award, trophies, rankings all were straight out of control.

hope it ends better then 19 because that back half was brutal and disappointing. Got rid of garret but feels the same..

Good luck trying to be the voice of reason on this board. One fan was predicting 16-1 and because I didn’t think the team would win that many games he called me a hater. lol
