Question?

Gregory is a FA and 30 - How much is he worth and would you resign him?
Von Miller is a FA and 32 - How much is he worth and would you sign him?

Would you sign both, and while keeping Tank for at least a year, lower your dependency on him?

If Dallas could sign both for 15M each, would you be all for that?

Yes Dallas can restructure Dak, and the 3 Linemen, and maybe Coops and easily come up with all the money they need for both of these plus Kearse.

Gregory does not have a lot of wear and tear on his body. So I guess, as some would say, he is a young 30.
Take Gregory over Miller at this point.

The need to stop rotating them both in and out every other series,I know they want to keep them fresh but it really hurts our rush when they do that...I think it's stupid...you never saw Harvey martin, too tall or the manster off the field.. unless injury related.

Any issues with Jimmy and his DL rotation? :D

Man just trust in Dan Quinn. Dude has taken one of the worst defenses in football and made them one of the best.

That started when Jimmy Johnson didn't have many of BIG talented DL, so he started a rotation trying to wear down the Offensive lines with strength and quickness. Now most teams rotate the DL because of the success the Cowboys had in the early 90's.
If Jimmy would have had the DL talent that Landry had, he probably wouldn't have rotated them. Haley darn sure didn't rotate, but 270-300lb guys without the talent of Haley, and going against 330lb guys get worn down instead of the other way.

I do trust Dq..still don't like taking out our bests players every other series, and it's not just the cowboys, every team does it.

Man.. These 17 game seasons.. Just get used to it.

They’ve turn the NFL into a marathon. I don’t know how these guys do it to be honest.

Team depth is going to be more important than ever thanks to NFL greed making these guys play football half the year. The season is just too long.

Big difference...How many playmakers we're on that dl? Haley and? The line now has 2 known playmakers and a great lb and even he gets subbed out, those guys should never leave the field.

Gregory just turned 29. He barely has 2 years or nfl games on his body.

Is anyone else worried that we are gonna sink a lot of cap dollars into a 30 year old DE that can only muster 11 tackled in a make or break contract year?

Tackles are not the primary purpose of this kind of player. Pressure is. In fact, if you'll look at yesterday's game, there were a lot of times on early downs that we didn't have either him or Lawrence out there because we want them to be out there on passing downs.

Lawrence is more of an all-around end who provides pressure by battling through the offense. Gregory is more of a pure pass rusher. He's not a bad player against the run, but he's at his best screaming around the corner or flashing through the middle. As long as he's closing on quarterbacks quickly, like he did with Fromm on that last drive, forcing them to throw the ball before they are ready, I think he's worth what he'll get paid.

You need pressure players as that is the primary way to have success on defense and he's a pressure player.
