Drew Pearson and Michael Irvin would be playmakers in big games. You could double team them or whatever, they would always get open. Even T.O. did so.

I have been looking at a Cowboy WR to dominate. No one is doing it. Even Cooper Kupp is doing it.

Amari Cooper is nowhere anywhere near these guys. He does not show up big. He does not dominate. He is highly overrated. Top- starters at WR get 100 yards or more in big games. My G-d, look at Jamarr Chase on Cincy, what he did in a big game against the Chiefs!! 266 yards and the Chiefs knew Burrow was looking for him all day.

Everyone knows about the Hail Mary catch. Cowboys were desparate to win. Drew Pearson caught 4 passes for all 91 yards!! That is what we call a playmaker.

Amari is just a talented receiver. He is no game breaker. He is no playmaker. He is no dominator. He would be sitting on the bench on a team with Michael Irvin, Drew Pearson and TO.

The offensive line cannot block any team. Zeke runs into unblocked defenders. He has no running lanes. Schultz is the worst blocking TE in Cowboy history. It is pathetic. If you cannot run the damn ball, you are not going to win with Dak.

I believe this team is way overrated offensively. No playmakers, no running lanes for Zeke, a a QB who runs cold then hot in big games and comes up short in too many. His statistics mislead and lie.

Philbin is the OL coach. Put him before the press and let him tell the truth. He cannot coach proper blocking schemes or all his linemen suck.

We are being teased by this team's offense. Too many times they are completely and easily shut down. It did not happen to Troy's great teams or Roger's. Their OL's opened up holes wider than the Grand Canyon.

This is a good roster and collectively they are very good but we are simply over rated at many positions

Amari is the best receiver but over rated
Zeke over rated
Dak over rated
Oline extremely over rated
CeeDee over rated
TE that can catch but can’t block for ****

I think many people drink the kool aid by this #1 offense but it can be deceiving

that said we can get it done but everyone needs to show up

What do you mean by Kool aid?

It's coming down soon btw.

That, January and the Cowboys don't mix well and probably won't for quite some time.

I'll bring it back in June when we all think there's a shot again.

But yeah this team has offensive problems it can't fix right now. The center rarely if ever winning a play isn't the least of which.

The number 1 offense kool aid and the center position isn’t the only position on the line it’s probably 3 of the 5 spots. The only ones consistently winning is martin and Collins

that said it’s football and things can get better every week. Football is such a week to week sport

But *** happened? They did it all in games 1 to 7. O line blocked for a great rungame and gave Dak enough time to score alot of points. We won even the dirty games like against the Chargers and NE. Zeke and Pollard had the best rungame in the league going. Schultz did block. Amari and CD were like ball magnets.

So *** is going on? When did it all crash? I don't buy the injury excuse. Did opponents Defenses adapt and we couldn't stay ahead of them? Has KM exhausted his repertoire and has nothing new to offer? Is Zeke really finished? Has Dak all of a sudden become a dimwit who can't read defenses any longer?

What's going on? I wouldn't say a thing if it had been like this all season. But we were great, really great. That loss against TB was a by far better game than any recent win vs. NFC east trash or the Saints. This ain't a slump but a decline.

(Edit: Even W T F is cencored? C'me on you guys :D )

IT'S NOT ALL HIS FAULT, look at the play design, look at the scheme of the game plan, is it designed to get him as many touches as possible?? No, why because we have too many options, how is it that other teams top guys can get yards and we don't, why because they have a PLAN to get the ball to that WR.

OUR routes are the worst in the league, you never see any of our guys WIDE OPEN, against us there's someone always running open

Teams have figured out which plays are run plays. That was obvious to me immediately on Sunday. There wasn’t the slightest bit of hesitation and the entire front seven was converging. At least three times saw our RBs getting hit behind the LOS and sometimes by two or more defenders. That is crazy bad. And many of our run plays require the TE to pick up the DEs and Dalton is just flat out whiffing. Our C and TEs are killing us not because they aren’t dominating but because they’re completely
Missing their blocks.

Gallups Ballet on the sidelines was always something else, and I mean that with the utmost respect. His catches with practically no room to work with were out of this world. Too bad he's gone now. :(

It takes ballet and great hands to be a wr for Dak Prescott.

And that in itself is a problem. I like MG but his route tree is limited and he struggles separating requiring Dak to throw perfect tight window throws pretty much every time. We don’t want Dak or whoever our QB is having to make tight window throws as often as we do. We need our routes to create more separation.

You were 99% correct, except for Dak.

Dak is plenty good. The problem has been either our WRs are not beating their 1-on-1s off the scrimmage line, not getting open at all or taking too long to get open. Our RBs are struggling to gain 1-3 yards on any given run because of our Oline. Our TE absolutely stinks at blocking. But our biggest problem is our Oline. Willing to give Philbin the benefit of the doubt is worse. That man has not coached this Oline to perform better the 2 whole seasons he's been here. Heck, this Oline was creating way bigger holes for Zeke and better pass protection for Dak their rookie year in 2016 while being coached by Frank Pollack and his assistant, ex-lineman Marc Colombo.

Philbin and his assistant are the problem. Period.

They have not improved this Oline. It has gotten worse. Way worse compared to 2016.

You're back with your Dak hate after the embarrassing thread you created last week?

I would not have showed my face for the rest of the season if I were you. No integrity.

Amari Cooper is probably the best route runner in the league. But he’s not the best at finding the open spot. Our best receiver right now is Wilson

Before you trash our receivers.. Every receiver that has caught a pass had someone throw it to them. Maybe this thread shouldn’t be about our receivers.

Yeah I guess it’s Prescott they think that’s missing the field goals. I guess he’s the one creating the holding calls. Offsides. Dropping footballs. I think we’ve gone on more 90 are drives , Without running game than any other team in the league

No it should’ve been about penalties, missed field goals. Zero running game because the office of line sucks . Using timeouts and not be able to get a fumble recovery. Because of it. Not getting holding Holding calls for safeties when they should be

I don’t think anyone of us on this team is overrated. I think what’s overrated is the entire team not individuals. You’re only as good as your coaching. If we have an offensive line that’s not good . Come up with a plan to take advantage of some thing else
