The 9ers are a good team, but this narrative that they are more physical or they are this bad matchup is crazy to me. Dallas is a physical team also and we are a very bad matchup for every team in the playoffs. We have two backs
that van ball and a Dline that can play in the backfield of any offense, the 9ers will need to deal with that as well.

Many are our own fans on here doing their usual negative Nancy / Debbie downer routines.

Man.... many fans have seen this before...a team that plays great throughout the year and then lays an egg in the playoffs.... 49ers are on a WIN streak...they are a physical team while everyone is skeptical of what Cowboys team will show up.... the good DAK or slumping DAK

I still like the Cowboys. 24-17

Will the Niners be able to " Out-physical "the Cowboys ?

Can the better NFL teams " Out-physical " the Cowboys ?

- Much is already made how the Niners out-physical the Rams.
Especially with their Shanahan design run schemes, that led to Grapp play action that
makes him operate much better.
Will they be able to Out -physical the Cowboys in same sense ?

Can teams out-physical us on both sides of the ball ?

- Rod Marinelli – teams could run the ball on his D” ... ( ala Rams playoff game loss with near 300 rushing)

- Mike Nolan – we probably set and broke records vs the run with woeful run D” ever;

- Dan Quinn - there were instances where teams like, Carolina, NY Giants (2nd game) , Denver KC Chiefs,
Even Philly 2nd -3rd stringers surprisingly ran well vs most of our starters...
how about we watch instead of guess??.... only how the game unfolds will prove these questions out not fans making wild guesses.

stay tuned, 5 days until kickoff.

If they win the battle in the trenches we’re done! It will be like watching the Denver game all over again with them running up and down the field gashing us with our offense sitting on the sidelines most of the game. San Francisco kept the ball for almost 40 minutes against the Rams.

I'm really shocked at the love the 49ers are getting from the media and "experts"....was this not the same team that was just down 0-17 to the Rams?

a “bad team” down 0-17?

so they must have lost the game

right?

100%.......49ers didn't win it, the Rams blew it, not the other way around. They go down 17-0 to us.....it's over
yup those INTs weren't about being physical the qb made bad decisions. yes 9ers are run heavy team that can be more s[physical if a team doesn't come to play. not sure how much the rams wanted that game being up by 17 they seemed to let off trhe gas and stated pulling soem players...they had far less to play for then the desperate 9ers tam who ha dto win or they were OUT..also those are division games and we know how divisions matchups don't tell the story as most good teams know their division better and those games tens to unfold differently than a team you dont play very often. ie the way the saints handle the bucs but can't beat us lol

they have to be able to stop us as well and overcome our stars.

IFSSSSS, if this ,if that well if the ceiling falls in at ATT we are in trouble..

lmao each and every game takes on a life of its own..dont care what we or they did week ago or through the season. they lost 7 games and needed an OT miracle win to get in, they aren't unbeatable. rams got up 17 -0 and let off and just seemed to not want it as much, their qb throwing 2 big picks had zero to do with physical those were mistakes. Bad read and bad decisions

so just don't give them extra possession, limit mistakes and we win..

The bottom line is they had to win last week and they did and they did it on the road. The Rams under McVay were something like 45-0 leading at half time and the 49ers overcame a 17 point deficit. They’re a very physical team that can run the football and that’s exactly the type of team we’ve had a lot of trouble with. That’s how Denver killed us earlier in the season. This is a tough matchup for the Cowboys. We’ll find out very early in the game if we’re going to be able to match their physicality.

I don't even know what you're talking about. Where did I say anything about a "bad team"? My point is, they are speaking of the 49ers as some dominant juggernaut and they were just down 0-17 and got a fluke win against the Rams.

We shall see if Quinn's defense is up to the task, as the 49ers run a similar ground attack as the Rams. A lot of motion, misdirection, playaction.

no!
no bottom line

that game WIL NOT HAVE ANY impact on this one. When fans understand that chit doesn't carry over this place will be easier to be around. if anything, all that effort and energy they exerted to barely get this one on the road then fly home and back on the road to Dallas and one less day to rest then us and we played and easier games it can be negative not positive,

Prove it.. oh you can't...

we will see Sunday at 630 pm when we have the entire game played to debate what happened. all this is nonsense ramblings of fans.

not fluke but a gift for sure, rams after they got up seemed content to win or lose and their qb gift wrapped the game.. :)

they came back and beat one of the best teams in the NFC. They have the assets to exploit our weaknesses

We can win but it can easily be a loss if things go sour because Dak does not have the ability to right the ship against better defenses
