His picks:

1. Stafford
2. Dak
3. Rodgers
4. Mahomes
5. Allen

I agree with the Top 3 (I'll flip Dak with Rodgers), but I don't see what pressure Mahomes is under. He has a Super Bowl and is not going anywhere. Plenty more chances to win another Super Bowl even if his roster is going to turnover at some point. I guess it depends on how long Andy Reid will still coach - maybe the concern is if he'll duplicate his success under another coach.

Allen is somewhat under pressure, but all of Buffalo loves him and he has many more chances as well. There is always the chance Buffalo goes off the rails at some point, but he gets way more praise than he should and I'm sure nobody will blame him even if they lose.

I would put Garoppolo at #4. He could be playing for his job next year. #5 I would probably say Tannehill. I'm sure Tennessee wants to get over the hump of the Chiefs. And if they have to play the Chiefs to get to the Super Bowl, they wanna actually win this time. And while Tannehill is not going anywhere, it's going to be hard to defend not getting over the Chiefs this time with Henry back right on time, and when it feels like it's their year in the AFC and that roster is as good as it has gotten in Tennessee in a long time.

Under the least pressure in my opinion are Brady, Jones, Hurts, Burrow, and Roethlisberger. Whether they win or lose, everyone will reason they're either young or have nothing left to prove.

Hopefully we've realized Dak can be defensed in the pocket and we'll begin moving him around salvaging the season and his career.
Let's roll KM.
Literally .

I made a thread about this the other day and I had Dak over Stafford although a lot of people gave convincing arguments for why Stafford is under more pressure. My argument for Dak is mostly centered around who he plays for than pressure to lose his job or whatever. The national media love them some Cowboys and the ratings and clicks they bring. Nothing gets them better ratings than when the QB for Dallas is really good but can't get Ws in the playoffs. They get to spend the whole off-season debating whether he's "the guy."

All playoff QB’s are under immense pressure. This is what it’s all about. They all know they have a chance, albeit some more than others, to join the exclusive club of QB’s with a ring and to bring a title to their town. In some cases it’s doing it a second time.

The QBs this year who probably don’t feel the pressure quite as much are the young QBs in their 1st or 2nd playoff appearances, or the ones who already have a ring.

The rest are in the same boat.

As far as teams under pressure, I hope (and think) the Cowboys realize this is an important run with this core group of players. The roster is stacked no doubt. Some of these guys are getting older and some will leave via FA. This is the time to make a run.

I don’t care for hardly any of these hacks but that list isn’t far off. Maybe change order a touch but I agree with it

Dak is under a ton of pressure. Huge salary. Paired with a high powered offense, decent defense, and a SB experienced coaching staff.

If he can’t get it done now— gotta question if he has the ability to ever get it done at all.

Sure their is pressure on Dak, due to the franchise and not winning for a long time, but:

-Rodgers could be playing elsewhere next season
-The Rams gave up the their entire future and have zero draft capital

I think its a coin flip between those two. Two biggest factors are the contract Dak got and the capital LA gave up to get Stafford. Dak has never been beyond the 2nd round, and Stafford has never won a playoff game

A Giants fan ranking the Cowboys quarterback number 2 in pressure. What’s new. If Dallas wins they will say the same thing next week. With talking heads it will be Super Bowl or bust. The talking heads are already firing MM and cutting Zeke. Cowboys talk drives the ratings.

Dak is really under no pressure. He has his money. The team will probably be better next season and he will be two years back from injury. The Cowboys are one of the youngest teams in the NFL. I noticed Cowturd has the Cowboys coordinators as head coaches next season. I find that strange because he has the Cowboys as one and done. Another talking head, who claims to be a Dak fan:rolleyes::rolleyes:, the guy said Dallas should have traded Dak and two first round picks for Russ, says he just does not think Dak is good enough to carry the Cowboys.

3 teams are SB or bust in the conference to view the season as an successful one and the Cowboys aren't one of them. If Rodgers and the Packers are the #1 seed again, if they fail to reach the SB, huge disappointment. The Bucs basically brought the same team back and are expected to win again, Rams put all their chips in the middle of the table for Stafford, if they fail to win in the next 2 seasons, heads will roll.

For the Cowboys, an successful season is to make it to the conference championship. If they find a way to win 2 playoffs games for the first time in years, they can build off that and play with house money. Win big this weekend and it will give them the confidence to beat one of the heavyweights the following week as the pressure will be on them.

The Cowboys are Super Bowl are bust. All the talking heads talk about is how the Cowboys have not been in NFCCG since 96. The Cowboys have to make it to the Super Bowl to change the narrative.

What would Max Kellerman know about the pressure felt by any NFL player? He's just another NY Mediot spewing talking points created by a show producer to get people to listen. Does anyone really think Rodgers feels much pressure?
