The Cowboys are Super Bowl are bust. All the talking heads talk about is how the Cowboys have not been in NFCCG since 96. The Cowboys have to make it to the Super Bowl to change the narrative.

for you or the media maybe players NO they arent accountable for the sins of their past teams failures. they all want a sb as bad as the next but no its not SB or bust its beat SF and thats it..only fans and media who make it a narrative its narrative. dak has only played since 2016 and that his era , that his narrative. this has zero to do with 1996 nothing.

Dak already has his 'big boy' pants. Bring on the pressure! See if his pupils aren't larger for the game...

His picks:

1. Stafford
2. Dak
3. Rodgers
4. Mahomes
5. Allen

I agree with the Top 3 (I'll flip Dak with Rodgers), but I don't see what pressure Mahomes is under. He has a Super Bowl and is not going anywhere. Plenty more chances to win another Super Bowl even if his roster is going to turnover at some point. I guess it depends on how long Andy Reid will still coach - maybe the concern is if he'll duplicate his success under another coach.

Allen is somewhat under pressure, but all of Buffalo loves him and he has many more chances as well. There is always the chance Buffalo goes off the rails at some point, but he gets way more praise than he should and I'm sure nobody will blame him even if they lose.

I would put Garoppolo at #4. He could be playing for his job next year. #5 I would probably say Tannehill. I'm sure Tennessee wants to get over the hump of the Chiefs. And if they have to play the Chiefs to get to the Super Bowl, they wanna actually win this time. And while Tannehill is not going anywhere, it's going to be hard to defend not getting over the Chiefs this time with Henry back right on time, and when it feels like it's their year in the AFC and that roster is as good as it has gotten in Tennessee in a long time.

Under the least pressure in my opinion are Brady, Jones, Hurts, Burrow, and Roethlisberger. Whether they win or lose, everyone will reason they're either young or have nothing left to prove.

I think it’s pretty much accepted that JG is being traded in the off-season anyways, unless Lance is still not ready, though in the throws I saw in one game he played, he definitely is. JG had accepted it and even he’s not closed to the idea of playing another year in SF if Trey isn’t ready.

JG isn’t playing under any real pressure at all I think.

I definitely agree though, the top 3 are pretty accurate.

Also, I don’t think it’s just Stafford that feels the pressure, Sean McVay is under pressure as well. It’s not just they gave up capital for Stafford, they made plays for Von Miller, though he’s on defense, and got Beckham as well. Has his scheme been figured out? This guy can’t in when his team is down at half-time, despite so many explosive players.

pretty much true...stafford has the most pressure. 0-3 in playoffs. on a team that's superbowl ready and one of the best coaches in the league..

yes, Dak needs to win. cowboys need to win.

Rodgers for having not won a superbowl in 10+ years, yet been labeled a God by many.... if he doesn't come through, the shine is a little off his armour...a little kink in there....still highly regarded, but not as God like...

Dak is under a ton of pressure. Huge salary. Paired with a high powered offense, decent defense, and a SB experienced coaching staff.

If he can’t get it done now— gotta question if he has the ability to ever get it done at all.
well, maybe, maybe not...Stafford is under more pressure. the team gave up their first overall pick and 2 first round picks and additional picks to get him, with the hope/plan to win the superbowl. he has a lot of talent around him, the best WR in the league perhaps and a great head coach who has been to superbowl and took the great Bilicheck to the brink.....he is 0-3 in the playoffs. towards end of his career and if he doesn't get it done this year, then he may never...

Dak is got another 6-7 years before he will be in the same shoes as Stafford. much like Rodgers, who now is 10+ years with no ring or superbowl appearance.....

#1 offense and a top 10 defense.

All we heard from ya'll is "just give Dak a decent defense", well he has better than a decent defense.

It's put up or shut up time. Get it done.
pretty much same boat for all QBs not named Brady or Mahomes on that list......Stafford still has the most pressure....the franchise gave up everything to get him, its this year or they are done.

I have no idea what’s being discussed here. Dak will be the QB in Dallas next year regardless of how this game goes. If they win, he moves on. If they lose, he goes home and starts prepping for next season. It’s another game. He’s done this before and he’s been the same guy in the postseason that he is in the regular season. This is all meaningless armchair psychology.

How is Dak not 1? Fact is he plays for the COWBOYS. The team that is scrutnized 10 times more than any other. Rodgers is under zero pressure. If he loses it will not be on him. The narrative will be there is not enough talent around him. The defense let him down... anything, but him. He will then be able to chose his salary and team next year. hes go zero pressure.

Dak ciuld have a great game, but if we lose, his contract will be scrutinized, he will be blamed, the media coverage will be more on the Cowboys, even in losing, than any other team this weekend that wins. The Cowboys QB always has the most pressure.

Stafford? Cmon, he plays for the rams, and the national media doesnt care about them.

Hopefully we've realized Dak can be defensed in the pocket and we'll begin moving him around salvaging the season and his career.
Let's roll KM.
Literally .
”Salvaging the season?”
“Salvaging his career?”
What planet are you folks living on? Dallas went from 6-10 to 12-5, division champs and the 3 seed. What is there to “salvage?” Dak is a leading contender for comeback player of the year and cemented his position. “Salvage his career?” Wut?

Yup. Dak must move the ball and prove the naysayers wrong about him not being good against good D's.

If Dak is Mr. 3 and out Sunday, we lose. We cannot afford that. I want to see a pile or running plays and short passes. Move the ball and keep our D off the field.

Why is Dak under most pressure? Is it because of his contract? The same could be said for Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, Matthew Stafford, etc.

No, Dak is not under any pressure. His future with the Cowboys is secured with a no-trade clause for the next 3+ years. Look at the other QBs whose contracts aren't secured. Those are the ones who should be under pressure.

I fail to see what pressure he's under. He just inked a monster deal with an owner who is the most loyal to his players.

What's at risk for him on Sunday? Facing your biting criticism? Why would he care? Much like the owner and his son he doesn't have to perform to keep his job.

He should be last on the list. Like if you were going to rank them on ability.

Rogers should be the most IMO. He hasn’t won the SB in 11 years and he’s probably winning another MVP. They have had the best team two years in a row and he has been beaten at home in the title game. They look like they’re headed back to the title game depending on next week. That’s pressure

3&4 shouldn't even be on the list.

I think its a two way heat between Dak & Stafford. If either plays poorly in a loss, confidence in them drops considerably. If they play well in a loss, confidence levels remain pretty much intact.

Jerry. It does not matter what we think. For me I am happy we made the playoffs. We were picked to finish behind WFT. Talking Heads seem to forget that.:rolleyes:
