-No team can be successful when they consistently beat themselves. It wasn't just one player, it was many players hurting the team in all phases.

-Run game once again was non-existent. Teams are daring them to beat them on the ground and they just cannot do it. It's like when Dez was playing at his end with the team, they were playing man coverage against him without any fear. We will certainly discuss was is wrong with our ground attack at a later time.

-Zero threat of a run game, allows teams to play extra men in coverage, which makes it very difficult for any QB to succeed. Add in all the self induced penalties, and the offense was facing 3rd and longs on a consistent basis. This is a recipe for disaster. Yes, Dak wasn't great, but the whole offense struggled. This isn't anything new, as we have seen a similar story after the bye week with our offense.

-Defense wasn't much better. Poor against the run, especially in the first half. Self induced mistakes, especially Randy Gregory and just couldn't get off the field on 3rd downs. Our edge rushers did not record a single sack. If their QB doesn't throw that terrible interception, it's a blowout victory. Our defense is improved, but still is far from becoming a top unit.

Certainly a disappointing end to our season. Usually issues that arise throughout the year get expose against better competition. Once this team became one dimensional on offense, they we far easier to defend. Add in all the penalties and kept on occurring, very small chance for success. There will be changes, but this team has to become more displined or a similar result will happen.

We were the same team we were all year.

Stupid penalties, slow starts, waiting too long for Offensive adjustments. Win against poor teams and play poor against good teams. The record this year was/is a facade.

Coaching was a problem today. Penalties for the season were embarrassing.

This a million times.

I must have said it a million times in the game day thread... it was inexcusable for Zeke to be on the field when he posed no running or catching threat.

This is the most frustrating thing I've ever seen as a Cowboys fan.

Tony Pollard was healthy and dynamic. Zeke was broken. It was a no-brainer and we wasted our best shot at a deep post season run on this **** up.

Expected, picked SF to win as this weeks upset in the playoffs. people just ignored history of the season and expected a different result, lead the league in penalties, couldn't stop teams that can run the ball and SF had to play playoff football every week just to get in where Dallas played NFC least garbage teams and the three teams Dallas played that were playoff teams in the second half, KC, Raiders, and the Cards, Dallas lost all three( I know Philly was a playoff team but rested their players), but some just chose to ignore all that and say well Dallas won 12 games...so what does that and a dollar get you!!

I would add that km and his Garrett offense were a big problem and the defense did play well enough to give us several chances to win at the end if the offense could have done something…

Yeah, even will all the crappy play and mistakes they did all game, they still had one last drive to win this game and then KM, Dak, and the offense choked and that was the end of the story. Losers find a way to lose. And choke big time.
