SF was the better team so no regrets other than the game was uncompetitive.

I agree finesse schoolyard bully that beats up on bad teams and then gets taken to the yard by the high schoolers. I'm amazed we stayed as close in the games vs TB and KC

I think the players knew after the loss to the Cardinals that they weren't what they were supposed to be.

Yeah ESPECIALLY in the 2nd half of the season. We beat up on some bad teams and thought the issues were fixed but they weren't. Bronco's, Chiefs, Raiders....not even great teams but semi decent teams just dominate us at times in the game.

Coaches change. Players change. Even management changes. Jerry becomes less hands on. Hires McClay. Etc. What doesn’t? The officiating against the team.

Yeah that's kind of why I'm over the McCarthy era already...granted, its probably not even his fault but to me penalties like they get just represents bad preparation and leadership up top IMO.
