I wonder if we can get a decent playmaker at 24. Any thoughts on who would be a good pick 24?

This might be a year they trade back. They will need players since we have 17 Free Agents coming up!

We need a QB. Without one a playmaker makes no difference.

Have to improve the run game and take the game out of Dak’s hands.
Argument is valid, but that ship has sailed until 2024. Beef up the OL and try to make it work with Dak. Dak has value when he doesnt have to carry the team on his back.

My Buckeyes fandom says, Olave or Wilson.
However, OL or LB is needed much more.

But if Gallup and Wilson and Brown all leave via FA....do they go WR?

Kenyon Green all day, but he won’t be there. Day one starter, and for surely won't be getting man handled like Williams.

Expect about half of them to be resigned, if not 2/3's. The others will be replaced by the same type cheap FA's.
So all will be about the same, no upgrades.

Maybe a trade back if they can get a 2nd round pick somehow, and a 3rd round. But depends on the depth in the draft also.

The 24th pick point value is 740. They could trade down, say, get the 4th pick in the 2nd round, at #36 overall, for 540 points, and 3rd round, 14th pick, #78 overall for the other 200 points.
Or something similar.
