If we do let him go it will be the biggest coaching mistake since every single hire other than Parcells.

Dan is a true leader. He turned our D around in one year. The players love him. He Loves the game.

Jerry. Please don’t screw this up again. Fire Mike. Keep Quinn.

I love the guy as a D coordinator but this isn’t Jerry’s decision. If he wants to be a HC again he will go.

Why are we blaming Jerry? He doesnt get any of the blame for the past 26 years? Oh yea.....he can prevent it, he can prevent anything or administer anything he wants or needs to......$$$$$$$$$$$$....and with that comes the blame

I have no idea how you give a coordinator so much say over the draft and free agency then let him go after one season.

McCarthy is gone after next year anyway.

Just give Quinn the job here.

I don’t care.

Dude made Parsons play primarily linebacker for nearly a month and we lost his game changing impact.

If you can’t figure out what Parsons does that impacts games or Demarcus Lawrence stops you from doing it then you can leave.

1000% .......posters/fans would be wise to understand league hiring policy for head coaches before posting. If Quinn wants to be HC and gets an offer, there's ZERO JJ can do.

Yea he can, Jerry.....the owner/GM can hire and fire at will......so......fire MM......hire Quinn to replace....simple as that when you are the bossman.

Hire Fangio and let Quinn walk. The D was a fraud in the biggest game of the year...they were lucky not to be down 21-0

Is Quinn that big of a loss if he leaves?

Did his refusal to play more zone cost us at times. The match ups I read about SF said we are better off playing zone. But Quinn insists sticking to man to man all the time. And it cost us numerous times.
Yes he turn this defense around, or did he.
The same old warts are still there. Have trouble stopping the run most of the time. Too many wide open receivers. Can't contain a mobile QB.

Yes turnovers improved like night and day, and those hid those warts. Was it Quinn, or was it assistant coaches, such as Harris, also better players, and the Micah impact.
When it came down to it, this defense was the same old defenses. No sacks, no pressure, can't make a stop when really needed. And if they do make a stop, there is a stupid penalty that negates it all.

To me overall, the numbers improved, but it was still the same old crap defense.

Why would that matter what coach hired him? Happens all the time in the workforce......old dogs, new tricks doesnt always work.....You go with what works......and Quinn is what is working.......so there,....I do know what I am talking about

Micah Parsons and Diggs being healthy and playing awful QBs in our division 6 times a year is probably what turned this offense around. And probably Randy a Gregory actually starting 11 games.

Quinn inherited the LOB and was pretty bad in Atlanta. And the spent multiple picks on CBs only to blow 4th quarter leads regularly.

One year compared to a track record isn’t enough to argue we need Quinn. If we can get a guy like Fangio, who fields great defenses wherever he goes, than we probably are much better off.
