If we let Dan Quinn go it will be a huge mistake

I wasn't worried about Quinn leaving unless Seattle opened up. I'm starting to think he could be swayed to Denver IF the right amount of power is given. There are some options in house, and Fangio and Zimmer are options. But, if MM falls flat again next season, we could be in the hunt for a whole new staff. I want to hold on to the fantasy of Moore moving on for as long as I can

The only way Quinn stays is as the Head Coach and the Jones boys have already said McCarthy isn't going anywhere so you might as well send him a Thank You card today so he will get it before he leaves

with multiple possibilities out there maybe Quinn would not want to be head coach of the cowboys. Maybe he would prefer another team with another QB. Jerry can offer but it does not want mean Quinn has to accept.

I don’t care.

Dude made Parsons play primarily linebacker for nearly a month and we lost his game changing impact.

If you can’t figure out what Parsons does that impacts games or Demarcus Lawrence stops you from doing it then you can leave.

Biggest “***” decision(s) of the season. Why isn’t Micah rushing almost every play?

We should be a 3-4 with Micah at OLB like how we used Ware, then draft a disruptive NT like we had with Ratliff.

I did want Urban Meyer real bad. So there is that.

Urban Meyer would’ve been fun and entertaining and a nice break from the McCarthy do nothing types.

Im ok with failure. The Cowboys are too scared to try anything out of the box. That’s why they hire retreads and pay 40 million dollars for average Quarterbacks.

If we do let him go it will be the biggest coaching mistake since every single hire other than Parcells.

Dan is a true leader. He turned our D around in one year. The players love him. He Loves the game.

Jerry. Please don’t screw this up again. Fire Mike. Keep Quinn.

Please
You are looking at this all wrong. If Dan Quinn is offered an HC job that he is willing to leave the Cowboys for, Jerry will have no say in the matter. It won't be Jerry letting him go, it will be Dan deciding to leave. Jerry has already decided to not fire McCarthy. Dan Quinn is already under contract with the Cowboys as the DC for next season so there is no decision to be made by Jerry concerning Quinn. It's all on Quinn if he goes.

Both of the Coordinators are important to Dallas right now. Jerry will be trying very hard to retain both of them. When a Coordinator is in a hot status and receiving intense interest, for him, that is the best opportunity for him to move on up.

Staff is pretty important to the overall makeup of this pretty young team.

Nothing will be worse than losing Sean Payton. We would have won 1- 2 Super Bowls by now.

If you were Quinn, would you want to stay here? As usual, Daddy and Son came out as fast as possible to vouch for our lousy coaches following another wasted season and solidifying our status quo. If I'm a coordinator or a FA, my mind was made up right then.

I wouldn't mind if they kept him but be real, he gave up 25 to the Cardinals who had trouble getting first downs last night against the Rams.

Quinn is a much better coordinator than HC IMHO.

:hammer:

When will people realize that good/excellent coordinators do not always translate to good/excellent HC's.

HC's have to be great leaders of men, instill vision, command a presence, set a tone, be the voice,......................wait I see the problem.
There's an egomaniac billionaire who wants that role.

Quinn is a good DC and I want him back as a DC but not as the HC. From what I learned about him, he is a big time players coach which is OK as the DC but it's not what this team needs as the HC.
This team is very undisciplined and needs a disciplinarian as the HC. A HC the players might not necessarily like but respect and fear.

If we let him take a head coaching offer it's a huge coaching mistake.

Man are we in for a loooooong offseason.
Wait…surely you aren’t suggesting that our GM doesn’t know what he’s doing? Just look at what he’s done for this fan base the last quarter of century plus.
