I’ve seen a lot of people say he can’t be cut because of his contract. But if he’s designated a post June 1st cut it’s only a 4 million dollar hit and saves us 13 million. Have to see what we have in Steele and Ball. Let’s be honest he was pretty bad and we need to move on from his injuries.

Steele was awful as a LT. He doesn't have the skill set for it.

Cutting Smith right now creates a critical hole.

No he wasn’t. He sucked in his first game and played much better after that. He’s made a huge jump from year 1 to year 2. He’s valuable. They also drafted Ball. They have to move on from Tyron either way get younger.

Only 4 million....that's peanuts.

Not as obvious a fall off the cliff type decline as Zeke's but the decline and lack of durability are still very obvious.

HUGE decision to be made going forward.

Can’t cut. Trade maybe. No way I cut him. Can’t have 3 new players on line. Already need 2. That’s plenty.

The reason why post June 1st is only 4 million is because it adds another 8 million total of dead cap combined for 2023/2024

His overall dead cap is 12 million which means he easily stays 1 more year (especially since his back issues didn't show up this year, just need his own teammates to stop injuring him)

Only 4 million....that's peanuts.
It was slightly misleading because pre june 1st you eat all 12 million at once but post June 1st you still eat 12 million you can just spread it farther down the line

The caps going up huge in 2023 though. I can’t be the only one sick of him always getting hurt.

Entire Oline needs an overhaul except for Martin. Too expensive to produce this bad of results.
Compared to what team?
And by what tangible measure?

PFF ranked then #1 in their final rankings

If you dont like PFF (and I get it) another prominant service also had them #1
I did find one service that ranked them 5th…that was the lowest

Overhaul 5th?
