Hope Moore moves on, but if not, I move on from him. He has proven that he cannot scheme a run attack and won’t run enough for a balanced attack which is crucial to playaction.

I prefer Todd Bowles or Josh McDaniel, but I probably stick with McCarthy for one more year after telling him that penalties must be down, running plays must balance passing plays, and game management better improve.

I tell McCarthy to take over the run game design or bring in a creative run game coordinator.

I let the OL coach go and replace him with the best damn guy I can find.

I focus free agency, open trade, and the draft on finding a big, powerful Center and left guard, LB, S, duel threat FB, and run stopping 1 tech.

1. Put curtains on the ****** windows during day games.
2. Take that stupid dumbotron scoreboard down.
3. Try to make the stadium more of a football atmosphere than a Coachella concert.
4. Remove myself from any coaches or players meetings about game planning or preparation.
5. Give Will McClay the GM title and let him have final say.
6. Let Will McClay find a coach who in turn hires their own staff instead of inherit coaches.
7. Let it be known the head coach is in charge, 1 voice.
8. Let it be known the Dallas Cowboys are all about winning championships and the soft culture is gone.

There is nothing that can be done until Dak's contract is up, we just realize that and wait.

And there is nobody in the NCAA who can help us out of this mess anytime soon.

I will say this be damn sure to start knowing more about the guys we make Cowboys, get some leader types in here, get some who use their head.

Saw a lineman and Gregory wrestling five yards from the play, Gregory gets the flag, the guy too concerned with....you can't push me. We have too many that just don't think.

Let KM take another job.
Make Dan Quinn the new coach of the Dallas Cowboys.
Find out who really wants to win as a Cowboy by:
Pull in DLaw and Coop and tell them their new salary for the next 3 years is 10 million or you will cut. Each contract will have 2 Million in incentives any year the DC win the SB
Cut Jarwin
Do not resign Connor Williams. He is a walking penalty.
Offer Gregory a 3 year 21 Million deal with a 2 million dollar incentive any year the DC win the SB
Kick L Collins inside to G. Steele is the new starting RT
Offer Schultz 5 year 45 million.
Offer LVE 4 year 20 million with same SB incentive
Restructure deals as necessary to make the above work.
Sign Gallup if Coop is cut
Pull Zeke in for a talk. You can restructure now at a lower salary and be a Cowboy for life or 2022 will be your last year.
Pull Dak in and tell him the door is always open to hear about OL or WR he likes in FA. Of course any of his ideas would come with him kicking in some of his salary. You know, him being a team guy and all.

Draft

First 5 rounds need to be 2 OL, 2DL, 1 LB
7th rd needs to be the best kicker coming out of college

Fix the freakin light shining o the field. So dumb this was not addressed already

Make the preseason games fun with drink specials to get interest in attendance. Season Ticket holder relief:)

I am sure there is more, but I have to go.

So, its your team, what would you do?

Lol…..zeke cowboy for life? No thanks. Make him a FB for one year and he’s gone.
LVE gone. Copper trade. New head coach…..gotta be someone great.

First of all, you’d never know I existed because I wouldn’t be attention whoring in front of every microphone I could get my hands on, I’d do the opposite and do everything I could to remain as anonymous as possible

Since I own the cowboys, I am going to assume I’m stupid rich so the first ting I do is

Wipe every semblance of jones & spawn from anywhere on or in the organization and ban the entire family from all Cowboys facilities, games, etc forever

Buy back all the seat licenses so I control all tickets

Abandon the current stadium for use by the Cowboys (tear it down if high schools or the city of Arlington cant find a use for it) and build a new one back in Dallas where it belongs

Design the new stadium so it gives every advantage to the Cowboys and every conceivable disadvantage to their opponents

Have the stadium designer create a stadium that magnifies crowd noise to a level unheard of from any stadium, before or since and make it the most insane, fun, loud, rowdy place for devoted cowboys to attend and opponents to dread

Give away all tickets to the games to the most rabid and devoted Cowboy fans especially those that couldn’t afford to go in the past and create a vetting process to make it virtually impossible for opposing fans to ever get a seat or country club Cowboy fans that just want to be seen versus making it a living hell for Cowboys opponents

^^^remember, the assumption is I’m stupid rich^^

Create a braintrust of the best football minds on the planet & past players who despise losing like Roger Staubach, Troy aikman, Michael Irvin, Drew Pearson and scour the planet for the best and brightest football minds and see who rises to the top to be GM and give that person full authority and power do one thing:

Win Super Bowls and restore the reputation of the Cowboys as one to be feared and respected year in and year out in perpetuity.

I want a team that is smart as a whip, mean & tough as hell whose opponents dread to play

Give the GM the resources, a blank check & authority to hire the best minds to build an organization that leaves no stone unturned to find and exploit every conceivable advantage from players, to facilities, to coaches etc, etc

Pull the plug on access to players by media & fans to the absolute minimum during the season.

Kill the celebrity & entitled atmosphere and instill an unrelenting work ethic devoted to winning that permeates every part of the organization so players who have the privilege to play for the Cowboys are no longer the Kardashian Cowboys living and benefitting off the reputation of past success while doing nothing but understand its time to get to work and are fully committed to winning Super Bowls again and creating their own history.

Work to get the league to award additional salary cap space to the teams that bring in the most revenue so the Cowboys can grab some advantage on the field for being exceptional financially

Create a braintrust to scour the officials who called the Cowboys games each week and make sure holy hell was raised if their was even the whiff of a bad call that went against the cowboys

Work behind the scenes to do everything possible to remove all limitations on the amount of time teams/players can practice as well as removing the limit to the number of padded practices.

Push to develop an off season program to develop players not on the roster while also improving those who are

Immediately put Jimmy Johnson and any other players long due in the ring of honor

It might start slow and ruffle a lot of feathers but eventually it would be clear as day the Cowboys sole mission is winning Super Bowls and being respected and feared league wide so while it might not happen overnight, I believe the amount of money and brain power devoted to the goal would eventually yield the desired results, consistently, year in and out

Too bad it 'll never happen, back to reality….sign

I would fire MM and also fire KM before he gets hired by whatever team is sold on him.
Dust off the old 90s playbook, bring in about 10 fullbacks for workouts, guys like Ben Mason, other notable players who have been out of the game for some time but are still young enough to maybe want a last shot like Ripkowski or Trey Millard, pick the best one to be Zeke's replacement. I would then trade Zeke for a 3rd and a 5th round pick in this year's draft. Pollard will be my starting HB in 22'. My draft targets would be Nik Bonitto-LB, Jordan Wright-LB, Gabe Brkic-K, Hendon Hooker-QB, Smoke Monday-DB, Zander Horvath-FB and whatever decent offensive lineman makes sense in whatever round one is the smart pick, even if it's not until late in the draft.

Call Bob Stoops and tell him I want him as the next Cowboys Head Coach and will pay him a salary that matches the highest paid coach in football, inform him that Will McClay and Dan Quinn are his to keep or fire if he prefers to handle future player personnel decisions and wants to change the defensive scheme.
I would find out who really wants to win as a Cowboy by:
Holding a mandatory team meeting on day 1 where I inform everyone in the organization of the year one policy of:
Undisciplined play will result in a benching of no less than 1 quarter. If you cannot dominate and play clean, you don't deserve the star on your helmet and you will ultimately be cut if you take shortcuts or like to play cheap or dirty. This is the Dallas Cowboys.

I agree on moving Collins back inside to LG. Steele is the new starting RT, if there is not another option that is available late in the draft. The Collins at RT experiment will be over as soon as I arrive.
Let Shultz walk if he gets in the way of paying Wilson.
Let LVE walk, it's Jabril Cox time at Mike.
Let Gallup walk if he has lost a step after the injury or thinks he is worth #1 money, bring in Dede Westbrook or Danny Amendola to replace him if Fehoko doesn't come in ready to rock.
Pull Dak in and tell him although he is a decent athlete and he has an absolute cannon of an arm, he is going to be handing and pitching the ball to backs at least 30 times a game, if he is not enthusiastic in his response, advise him of how much faster the rookie QB I just drafted is in comparison to him and how well he can do that.
The goal is to smother opposing offenses and to own the clock the entire season with Pollard rushing for over 1700 yards, and the other backs getting a few hundred each as well. Old-school power football, the kind of stuff that would make John Madden proud.

Great question:

You are stuck with Dak because of dead money but you play to his strength. Design bootlegs and have him run off designed QB runs between 5 and 10 times per game.

Let CW hit free agency and sign somewhere else.

I draft a RB who can start or get through the year of it is just the new guy and Pollard.

I take a really good hard look at Zeke and ***** whether he can still play or not. If it’s injury related he gets a short rope to show he still has it early next season. If not I trade or cut him as the cap/options allow.

I try to keep LVE, Gregory and Wilson cheap. Wilson might be the only one of this group that remains in our price range and might be the most pivotal of the group.

Gregory is very football stupid. If he plays for me it’s CHEAP.

I am looking really hard for Tyron’s replacement. I would be willing to trade Tyron for cap relief, as I believe his best days are far behind him. If I can get some salvage value out of him and his cheap contract an maximize salvage value I get that done yesterday.

I would try to see what I could get out of Amari in terms of a trade. Might not get any takers. WR are all in the draft these days.

I look for a few really good “possession” type of receivers in the draft. (Think Anquan Boldin, Wes Welker, Edelman, etc). Dak needs a safety net.

I look to flip Tank for picks. He’s a player who can’t get any pressure in big games.

I would way over pay to keep Quinn based on what he did last year.

This will not be popular but I would try to trade Diggs for a 1st and a 3rd. Won’t get it but I would dangle him out there. I think he is lucky/a mirage.

No disrespect intended to you but…all the moves listed above are another coat of paint and a new set of deck chairs on the titanic. Until this owner gets tired of “his way” nothing changes.

Since our last SB 26 years ago, we’ve already had 6 different HCs, 7 different OC’s, 8 different DCs, 20 different QBs playing for us (3 different in the playoffs) and….1 stubbornly selfish GM. Why would we expect any collection of changes to make things any different?

I think I would wait till Tom Brady is done playing football and ask him to be the general manager of my team.

He seems like the only one that can assemble a team of players that want to win a championship as opposed to Jerry who continually assembles a team that wants to make business decisions and collect paychecks.

Assistant? Hmm? I might work for you, however, I will need $40,000.00 a year.

But, I'm a busy guy...got some TV ad's to go on...I need to sell me some beds. We could work it out...call my brother, Dat. Do you have an opening in Rockport's department? I play some mean gui8ar. Then I could hang out with the cheerleaders.

Anyway, if I owned this team...time to sell and pay for the time spend,,,

I think you forgot a zero. Don't sell yourself short brother.
