I tell you, that Bengals coach is simply AMAZING. His play calling, his team's discipline... just outstanding. Just 3 short seasons ago they were the worst team in the NFL..... AMAZING.

Now Joe B. had noting to do with him.. its all coaching.... bahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahhahaha

This is who the cowboys need he is creative..... innovative.... puts players in the right position/ formula to succeed... if jerry is about selling tickets and loves offensive production Eric Bieniemy will get the best out of the players we have on offense.
I would like to have him , but he cant go oc to oc , at least I dont think so . depends on if his contract
is up. If not it would have to be as HC/ OC.

Hell no. I don’t want the oc who had a great qb. I don’t want Ben macadoo.

So you don’t think he can pick a talented coaching staff??? Why do teams pull from successful coaching trees? You give me EB over Kelmo any day of the week.

I agree where else did Kyle Shanahan and others learn from?

The difference between those guys and someone like Kellen Moore is they have paid their dues and learned from great coaches.

Coaching has everything to do with a players success. Mahomes wouldn’t have developed under Garrett.

You guys give too much credit to player ability. This is football, not basketball where one player can take over a game. Team, talent, and coaching all weigh equal parts into a players success. Better coaching can make up for a lack of talent, and vice versa.

No elite QB would have succeeded under Garrett. He would just run up the middle every 1st and 2nd down.

So he wasn’t a good coach before Mahomes? Ok yeah….
Reid went to the Super Bowl with McNabb. The report on Mahomes coming out of college was that he had a great arm but had a gunslinger mentality and may have trouble reading NFL defenses as that was not ask of him in college. In fact KC moved up 17 spots to get him. Point is someone had to have coached him how to read defenses and take the gunslinger mentality out of him.

Good for Reid... all that great success in all those years in Philly, and ZERO titles. Mahomes shows up, and Wala... SB winning coach, destined to go down as one of the greatest ever.

So who was the OC here when Andy Dalton was quarterback? Let me guess.....Andy Dalton ran his own plays and playbook lol?
Andy Dalton had how many of the starting offensive line hurt? Also I can’t remember but did he play through the hard part of the line up? Obviously you didn’t remember all the details and just needed those as a refresher;). Happy to help

explain Alex smith? Ok... No SB appearances. No sb titles. How's that?
No AFC championship games.

Mahomes shows up... 3 straight afc title games, 2 straight sb appearances and a title.. I think that about sums it up.

Joe Gibbs won 3 Super Bowls with 3 different qbs and only one of them was a HOF. Coaching does matter a little.

you have obviously never seen me write on this topic before. Nick Foles also won a title, so did Jim Plunket, so did Joe Flacco..... now go down the list of sb winning QBs, yu will see about 80ish % are in the HOF.

Non interesting story. My older brother played against Eric Bienemy in high school. Dude was a BEAST. Used to love to say his name back in the day.

Yes but when Mahomes came out he was not considered 1st round talent and no one thought he will be this good. Most teams had a 2nd round grade on him and he was compared to David Carr. Some NFL coach had to coach to become what he is today because wasn’t like that coming out of college.

and the vast majority of scouts had a 1st rd grade on Ryan Leif.

Absolutely not. Dude is just a sidekick to the real coach. He does nothing for the Chiefs and Mahomes ain’t coming with him.

Nobody will give him a head coaching job and neither should Dallas.
Sidekick or not he's better than KM and has enough experience to make a difference
