I believe this team is a run game away from making a huge push in the playoffs.

Who is difference maker that can bring the run game back to the glory days?

You have to commit to the run.

Teams that think they have elite QBs aren’t really big on running the ball. The problem is Dallas thinks Josh Allen is their QB when their QB is more Tanehill.


Until they understand that Dak’s not that guy pal then expect a mediocre run game.

I’m not sure but watching the bills last night it’s really a shame dak doesn’t run anymore. He’s not as quick as Allen and he’s older but we never use a bootleg run, we never use the read option, we never just run dak. He could be an asset for us in the run game but seems like with the injury those days are done

It's not just the OL, good running teams have everybody blocking well including the WRs and TEs. From what I saw ours could use some improvement, it just takes one defender defeating a block to make the tackle.

I was thinking a run game similar to 2016 mixed in with 49ers scheme.

…the good teams and good coaches make sure those details are front and center….if this team is doing the same, I’m just not seeing it.

A new LG or Center is needed. Both would be ideal, but upgrading one or the other is a definite must do.
A little more Pollard sprinkled in when Zeke isn't healthy and even when he is. More runs outside instead of running into a brick wall. Running out of a spread set more often because it always seems our run game works better then. Be more physical or more finesse but don't get caught in between the two with no identity. Lastly and a big want from me. A TE that can block. Losing Bell hurt and I'm tired of watching Schultz being called on to make a block for the play to succeed and seeing him whiff or just do a crap job, half-hearted job and Jarwin isn't any better and probably worse. One of the two may be gone for cap reasons. We need to bring in someone with a different skill set whether he be our #2 or our #3

Warner has been a solid voice of reason and clearly has no axe to grind. Although Dez, Aikman and Romo have commented on the Cowboys issues, some of the message gets dismissed because of their past team affiliation and perceived biases
