We'll never know the truth or the whole story.
Who's ship? LOL, you forget who the Owner/GM/President/Chief/Admiral is on this vessel?Stuff like this is why I don't think MM is cut out for this job. Why are you letting your ship go down without trying to fix it? You're a offensive mind right? It goes back to his hiring of MIke Nolan...why would you let Mike Nolan ruin your first season? I just don't understand.
Sounds like MM harbors a little resentment to being told KM was going to stay and run his offense, so he let KM sink or swim on his own.
Such a well-run organization.
So sounds like McCarthy was trying to use Moore as a scapegoat just in case the season didn't work out. Instead of stepping in to help Moore with adjustments when things weren't working out on offense.
I've agreed with a lot of your way of thinking but honestly, I think you're wrong on this... Jerry made it very clear to MM after the interview that Kellen was going to be calling the plays... This isn't about MM trying to pass the buck. You're right, he could step in however Jerry told him clearly not to...It feels like JErry gives MM the keys to do want as far as coaching goes......this just reeks of McCarthy not wanting to be held accountable and this is why the structure of this team sucks...you can't hold anyone accountable because you have 5 different guys you can blame. Nussmeier, Mcadoo, Kellen Moore, McCarthy....all of these offensive minds and we have nothing to show for it but confusion and lackluster play.
Broaddus doesn’t like Mike. That’s what y’all are missing here. He’s stated it countless times just FYI.
If that is the case Fat Mike needs to go. You do crap like that mid season to press home a point not in the playoffs.I agree. As much as MM publicly says he likes KM, behind close doors he is irritated that he didnt get to pick his own Offensive Coordinator. He held KM accountable as a result.
My understanding it's not unusual for head coaches to give their coordinators complete control but if something not working, the buck stops with him. So this take by MM is a bit surprising.

Wasn't Broaddus a scout for Green Bay during the MM era? Maybe Broaddus has a beef with MM for being fired?
well, this sounds like Jerry has made it clear than Moore is going to do his thing and no one interfere with him...he said as much during Garrett as well and it was interesting that MM kept Moore and now it sounds like there is issues between coaching ranks..Jerry gets in the middle yet again...dysfunctional organizationStuff like this is why I don't think MM is cut out for this job. that's all on Jerry. he creates this chaos and lack of organization and bad corporate cultureSounds like MM harbors a little resentment to being told KM was going to stay and run his offense, so he let KM sink or swim on his own.
Such a well-run organization.
sounds like Jerry has dictated a few things. he did the same with Garrett and Moore. And some of ya'll still defend McCarthy?
It sounds like he don't want to help so if things fail he can put the blame somewhere else.
Exactly.Wasn't Broaddus a scout for Green Bay during the MM era? Maybe Broaddus has a beef with MM for being fired?
in any other organization that would be true. not in cowboy land. Moore reports to Jerry, not MM. that was established a while back.I doubt he told Kellen that
Offense, Defense and Speical Teams is ALL Mike McCarthys job because hes the head coach
if Mike gotta call the defense then so be it because its his job
Rex Ryan had to call plays on offense and help develop Mark Sanchez
so im not buying that he told Kellen that
