Broaddus doesn’t like Mike. That’s what y’all are missing here. He’s stated it countless times just FYI.

Yeah, you can tell when Broaddus is holding a grudge.

Doesn't sound like a story at all to me. Just one guy making something out of nothing

Stuff like this is why I don't think MM is cut out for this job. Why are you letting your ship go down without trying to fix it? You're a offensive mind right? It goes back to his hiring of MIke Nolan...why would you let Mike Nolan ruin your first season? I just don't understand.
MM doesn’t smile and always crosses his arms.He Looks like a typical coach.

Sounds like MM harbors a little resentment to being told KM was going to stay and run his offense, so he let KM sink or swim on his own.

Such a well-run organization.

That’s exactly what’s going on and the Cowboys got out in front of it unlike they did with Garrett when hiring Wade.

They are making this all seem like it’s McCarthys idea so the homers buy it.

The reality is they believe in continuity even if that continuity sucks.

Im not anti Kellen Moore. I think he’s ok. But it’s just a joke acting like this was all McCarthys idea.

I'm not defending McCarthy by a long shot here, but when did this conversation take place? It just seems like an odd thing to say in general.

The season began with Moore being pass-happy. McCarthy did go public with “we must be more balanced.” For awhile, we were running the ball much more, and play-action helped the receivers and Dak have great success with less volume. But Moore gradually stopped running the ball, and crickets.

I’ve said repeatedly, we all want a successful, well-designed run game, but even if you are only getting 3 yards a carry, you still have to run regularly, make the defense tackle the guy and not just pin their ears back on pass rush, not have LBs bailing into passing lanes. No matter how successful your run game is or isn’t, the RB doesn’t tackle himself. Someone has to come forward and plug the holes and make the tackles. That helps your passing game.

If MM isn't going to take on any of the playcalling duties (or even be part of the game plan all week), he should be on top of everything else including clock management, limiting penalties and motivation. 2/3 of those we completely failed at, the motivation part we did decent sometimes (smashing some teams we should've been smashing) and not so decent other (slow starts vs better competition). We can do better than MM, I still don't see what he's bringing to the table that puts us above a competitor

"Force Kellen Moore on me, will you. I'll show you" - passive aggressive Mike McCarthy.

Dallas Dysfunction.

If Josh Allen was his QB would he suck?
I say yes, absolutely. He would have Allen throwing the ball 40-50 times a game, seldom running, and Singletary would be disappearing just like Zeke and Pollard.

Honestly I'd chuck rotten tomatoes at MM if I was ever close enough.
Total fraud.

I doubt he told Kellen that

Offense, Defense and Speical Teams is ALL Mike McCarthys job because hes the head coach

if Mike gotta call the defense then so be it because its his job

Rex Ryan had to call plays on offense and help develop Mark Sanchez

so im not buying that he told Kellen that

I don't think he told KM that. I think he just let KM do the job he was installed to do, i.e., run the offense. Whatever befalls the offense falls on KM.

Look at the salary McCarthy is pulling in. Joe Judge made more than him in 2021. McCarthy could have been told not to make any changes to the offense, that it belongs to Moore.

More proof that Jerry Jones once again picked an offensive coordinator for his Head Coach, instead of letting him bring in his own person.

He let his Head Coach pick his DC and we promptly set historical records for awful on defense.

I have been around Dak and KM out socially. I can tell you they are very close.

I am starting to think MM is a goner, which is good.

Teams with bigtime QBs don’t really care about running the ball so you’re probably right.

Dallas thinks their QB is bigtime and that’s why they don’t run.
