Who do we want Sean Payton or DQ for head coach after next year?
Why is it risky. There will be HC openings next year as well. Maybe he did not like the situations with any of the teams.
Improve the defense and go further in the playoffs, his asking price could go up.
Maybe the team did not want to pay that much more for him to stay in Dallas, and Texas (no state taxes) to eat at part of the pay.
Maybe teams did not want to give the freedom as a HC would want, or to hire his own staff. Many reasons involved from both sides.
So, does that mean we get to keep Jayron Kearse as well?
The downside of this is this probably makes a DL overhaul less likely as I'm sure Quinn will overrate guys he knows.
Those where just like wet dreams anywayWhich also means the Payton dreams can die now- for at least this year
I swear. For some of you, one has to post sources/links. If you kept up with the Cowboys, you wouldn't have questioned my post. https://fansided.com/2022/01/11/cowboys-dan-quinn-coaching-rumors-playoffs/He didn't say that.
Not happeningNow if we can get Payton as HC and both can work together ... !!
The bolded part is far from a given. Sure we all hope so. But what if the defense is average or worse, and the team fails to make the playoffs?
Or he wanted to stay and just tested the waters...I’m assuming he wanted Denver and once they picked someone else he was back.

I swear. For some of you, one has to post sources/links being you think EVERYONE in here makes stuff up. If you kept up with the Cowboys, you wouldn't have questioned my post. https://fansided.com/2022/01/11/cowboys-dan-quinn-coaching-rumors-playoffs/
if he was so set on leaving, why did he interview with teams for their HC position?Quinn has stated several times he wasn't leaving but some of our fanbase like starting obnoxious threads lol.
