When does he become eligible to go to a different team, if the Cardinals decided that he wasn't the guy?

I think as the season goes on, Murray loses some of his speed due to the hits received as a runner. Limit him to being a pocket QB, and his game suffers.
exactly. that's why I never liked RBs playing QB. in the NFL the QB has to be able to throw from the pocket. in the playoffs, with better/faster defenses, that running ability gets neutralized and it comes down to passing. Jackson is a prime example. great in regular season and so far in his career the playoffs has been a disappointment.

Yep, I can see that.

That’s usually the fork in the road for all running QBs.

Throwing for 15 yards is always easier than running for it.

Fifth year option and at least one tag before it becomes problematic for the team.

It's easy to see how if the team doesnt lock up its QB early, and couples that with having no plan B in place, they could be forced to overpay or deal with losing for probably at least a few years.

If a guy can't get it done in six years it's reasonable to consider moving on vs paying him top of the market dollars.

Maybe he just wants a break from it all. Will wait for until just before TC starts to bring it back.

He didn't lose it against us though.

He didn't look as fast to me against us. He certainly wasn't breaking ankles and outrunning everyone like he was earlier in the season. I think our problem was more with discipline and staying in lanes.

I dont know anything thing about Murray other then he was a nightmare to play against. The way the Rams shut him down was stunning. Was it tired legs or just a Superior Rams team. A little of both but Murray is mortal. We need a better pass rush
