Not sure what logic he is using for this argument.

AD is 30 years old and costs a lot of money.
MP is 22 years old and is on a rookie contract.

Everyone knows AD is a great player and if they were both 22 and on their rookie contract, maybe it would be an interesting thought experiment.

However, given AD's age and cost along with the Cowboys' desperate need for linebackers, I can only assume Sharpe was pushing the idea for views.

This, basic math 22 is less than 30 by 8 so Pass!

I am an Aaron Donald fan. First ballot lock HOFer. He is 30 Y/O. Not a chance I or anybody with a triple digit IQ does that trade. Micah a decade younger and ascending.

I wouldn’t do that if they offered us AD and a first. Parsons is gonna be a impact player for years. Can play LB or DE. We can draft a huge DT that can simply drop anchor and clog the middle. Getting one that could push the middle is the trick.

Micah is just starting and is only going to get better.AD, while an incredible talent, is at the age where he’s going to start to decline a little bit.

Sharpe would also be pushing that trade because he cant stand for the Cowboys to have something great. Donald is making a final rally before going downhill. MP is just getting started.

What's become a major problem with this team is all the attention they get, despite the fact they haven't done anything in 25+ years. We can thank owner / GM for this. 2 of our best players got around the media recently and said they didn't know there was so much hatred pointed at the Cowboys. There's too much national media on this team created by the ones sitting on the throne. Hard Knocks and all of that mess. Just so Jerry can get some more glory. He would rather have that than winning.

It’s Super Bowl week and all FS1 has is too talk about a trade that can’t happen because of salary cap ramifications. I will give Jerry credit, talking about the Cowboys brings in the clicks.
