10 being can’t wait until Camp starts and watching reruns of the 2021 season.

1 being I would rather paint spindles.

Serious question. For me the SF loss still stings. The Rich D scandal is beyond ridiculous. Jerry’s weird head games with McCarthy. That no one took Moore of their hands. I am feeling real low right now. I always seem to get pumped for the draft and camp but as I sit here in February I am wondering if 2021/22 broke the camel’s back. I am a big hockey guy. Love the NY Rangers. No nonsense, young, talented and overachieving. The exact opposite of the Cowboys.

I peg my fandom at a 3 right now. Where are you at right now?

7 got to have some down time before the season, nerves, heat can't take the stress for 365 days. Just relaxing and waiting on FA and the draft to begin. By the time the draft ends I'll be ready for the 2022 season to get going.

My fan meter is always at a 10 or I wouldn’t be posting right now. As for my expectations for the team next season they’re around a 2. I think we’re all pretty down on the Cowboys right now. I certainly wouldn’t want to watch reruns of this past season. I would much rather watch reruns of their Super Bowl seasons. Once the draft comes around I’ll be looking forward to it as I will training camp but right we all could use a break from watching the game to recharge our batteries after the disappointment in the playoffs.

I love it. Battle hard. Maybe Jerry will hire Payton and rope me right back in.

My fan meter is always at a 10. A 10 and spilling over. My level of disappointment has changed however. I am no longer devastated when the Cowboys are knocked out. I guess because I'm used to it. The last time I was, it was 2007. But never since. Before that you'd have to go back to the early 80s.

Edit. 1994 as well!!!!

I could see Payton in 2023 or 2024 but I honestly think Payton stepped down because he is burned out, I don't think it has anything to do with the Saints or the organization I think the man knows he has to get away for a while. Last thing you need is a coach who is dealing with burnout. Give him time.

I'm not even thinking about football because there's too much hockey and basketball to watch.

I'll revisit this subject in July, when the typical hype cycle begins from the media and FO.

Lower expectations and more questions and concerns going into next season.

- Kellen moore will have more stalled struggles because he cannot adjust to opposing defenses ,and if the OC is struggling it's a great chance the starting QB will to,
- I'm feeling the front office influence in how this HC will be ran out in a puppet, lame duck season, where he could be set up to fail, rather than the biggest support to
succeed.

- From starting with this latest McCarthy Rich Eislein (sp) interview, ..and other in-house fighting that will likely hear about later on as the season goes on,
i wouldn't be surprised if McCarthy suddenly " retires " and tries to pick reasons for it.
Could this be De Ja Vue all over again McCarthy vs Team Management ? Something that lead to him being canned in GB, (among other things)

- It's almost feels like it's a " Wait n See " what happens and if team morale is low in a losing streak let;s cut McCarthy lose- and go with Quinn as interim, until a decision
to go after Sean Payton can be made.

- As much as Cowboys seemingly are trying to pitch an image that they are publicly supporting McCarthy all the way despite the Sean Payton rumors, i'm pondering if there
is something brewing behind the scenes, such that they cannot prevent the leaks and cracks in the cover up.
