That statement probably has to do with whether or not he would rather be traded than stay with the Seahawks based on what direction they're going.

A restructure doesn't add money to your contract. It doesn't give you new guaranteed money. Only an extension does. And he's not getting one before the 2022 season. Not counting 5th year options, I don't know of any player that gets extended this early.

Even if he gets traded, he's most likely waiting for 2023 to get an extension and new guaranteed money.

Let's revisit this after it's settled.......pretty sure he will not agree to a trade w/o new money.

What decline, show me, do some homework. Big deal we won "a" playoff game, that is not two games every season for the next 6ish seasons.

I did my homework his numbers dropped from last season especially his TD passes. He missed 3 games but he wasn’t going to put up the numbers he did last season even if he stayed healthy. He had just over 3100 yards. His 25 TDs were the lowest in five years. His QB record this season was 6-8. He didn’t look as sharp as he has in previous seasons and now there’s rumors of him being traded. According to him he wants to stay in Seattle so apparently they’re the ones that want to move on. It comes down to what reports you want to believe. Don’t get me wrong he’s still good but I believe his best years are behind him.

He broke the finger week 5, had 9 TD's first 4 weeks, missed two games, now do you really think he was 100% when he returned in week 8, hell no! Takes a good 5/6 weeks I know I broke a finger playing flag football. If we just give him two a game which is what he was doing that is 32 which is about his norm.

So the Seahawks can find a replacement for Russell Wlson, really? Ya don't criticize a QB who played half a season coming off a broken finger, come on man.

The facts are trade rumors are swirling around Wilson. It probably won’t happen but the rumors exist.

No doubt he would be a huge upgrade on and one of our division rivals at QB. He'd probably be a pain in the butt too. But even though he's a good QB, I don't fear him when we have the better team. I just don't. Give him a team that's on equal footing, then he's a problem. Otherwise no. Not impressed.
