No to 4th, maybe a 3rd, but definitely 2nd. Need to tell Browns that other teams are interested too even if they aren't.

Yeah I'd tell cleveland to kick rocks. Tell them "he's not intentionally moving to Cleveland in free agency, you either cough up a 3rd or get loss"

Lol at Cleveland thinking they can haggle a 4th instead. There a joke city and a joke franchise, good luck getting him in free agency

If the Cowboys trade him for a 4th they’re bigger idiots than I thought.
Especially since we're talking about the browns. No franchise quarterback, joke franchise, a very undesirable city to live in

Cleveland's only chance of snagging a number one receiver that's already been paid is through trade, they don't really have any negotiating power so it would be embarrassing if Jones gave into the fourth round offer

For a 4th? I'm keeping him. I'd rather have Coop than a Golston / Wright

Colts just got a solid ransom for a terrible Wentz. We should get more than a 4th

I'm guessing Coop has some say here.......think about it. I'm guessing none of the interested team are willing to trade and pay him w/o restructuring the $20M per year. Let's say we found a partner willing to give up a 2nd or 3rd but he refused to restructure coz he doesn't wanna play for that particular team.

The way I see it, here are Coop options
*his 2022 salary become guaranteed on March 21
* We can either pay him, trade him or release him
* if he refused a restructure to in his favor ( money and choice of team), we can only pay or release.
My point is, I'm not sure it's that cut and dry to focus on getting a certain draft pick. Lot of moving pieces IMO

Why are they not looking to get a 2nd if there's so much interest?
I'm sure they're trying to get as much as they can.
And the amount of interest is debatable......probably Jerry drumming up biz.
They have supposedly been shopping him for at least 3 weeks now, so it is what it is.

The Browns DO make sense though.

20mil a year is the main thing
Then you restructure, and push it down the line. Cap is going up and Zeke / Collins is off the books likely next year. That leaves you basically with Cooper and Lawrence.

Remember people his 2022 salary is guaranteed the 5th day of the new league year ( March 21 ) IF we can't anything done, our options are simple........ keep him at current or release him.
