I don't think he projected to being a Tackle in the NFL. Again, I admire his work ethic which seemed to be good, but the blame he receives for his play is spot on.... it comes with the territory. I'm glad he get a fresh chance in Miami but I'm not really sad to see him go either.
I think he would’ve been a better tackle than guard, despite his shorter arms, where his agility would be an asset.Just doesn’t have NFL strength to be a guard.

The interesting thing about his penalties:

2021 - 948 snaps - 15 penalties
2020 - 1146 snaps - 4 penalties

Wouldn't surprise me at all if he gets that cleaned up. Not like he has been this extreme with penalties his whole career. Oh well, if the Cowboys can improve at the position i'm all for letting him walk.
That’s the strange thing. He came back from his demotion and went, I believe, 3 games without a penalty. I do believe he became a marked man by officials and opponents. I also think he and Biadisz playing next to each other exacerbated the problem for both.

Fairly reasonable deal with limited risk. Despite the penalty issues can be a solid starter.

Biadasz had 0 sacks and 11 penalties.

I'm guessing Cowboys go WR--OG or vice-versa in the first 2 rounds of the draft....

I hope they get a shot at Zion Johnson in the first. Watching him at the combine he appeared to be a very athletic and powerful guy. But there are other offensive linemen that would work as well. I would hate for them to go for a WR in the first again. But missing on Gregory may force them to go DE - and at 24 there is a good chance we get another Taco Charlton.

My initial post was after we all thought Gregory was headed to Dallas. Now with the RDE position up in the air, DE is definitely in the mix at 24 now.
