Depends… if they continue to use him like last year, moving him around, keeping the opposing teams guessing then I think he can build on last years performance. If they try to make him a full time DE where teams can easily game plan for him, then I can see him regressing!

He is not going to get much help, if any, from the rest of the defense. He could be a cornerstone player for the team if he had just a small amount of help, but it is very doubtful that he will see much help.

Parsons wants the big pay day. He said it himself that he is busting his butt now with that goal in mind. Once that day comes and goes, you will see a very different performance on the field. DLaw, Zeke, and Dak are perfect examples. The day the new contract is signed the passion and desire disappears.

I wish this team had players who were more focused on winning rather than how much they can pad their bank accounts.

stats? Maybe.. what he did his rookie season is most players career year. So..

His Impact on the team? Zero chance he regresses in this area. His mindset won’t allow him to play anyway but great. He talks the talk, and walks the walk. Not worried about stat regression at all, even if his numbers are down. His impact on the team is invaluable.

It's all going to depend on him. I don't get the vibe that he will just quit trying to get better, he doesn't seem to be built like that, but even then that usually happens after you take Jerry to the cleaners, so I don't see a regression until then.
