Dallas will never sniff a title again. Too inept and it’s only gonna get worse when jerrys Bozo son takes over for good.

Maybe but I'd bet you McCarthy won't be here either short of a Super Bowl
that is a possibility, but it depends on how season goes, and if and how they do in playoffs.

jones boys dont plan anything, they just react and "FIX" things.

The last few times I felt this way they made the playoffs.

So I agree with you but under caveat that this team is still the best team in the NFCE suckfest and that likely means a playoff appearance.
The downside is you would get roflstomped in round 1 with this level of talent in a playoff game.

I still think the Jones boys are clearing cap for Payton. Or Stephen could just be one cheap SOB. Either way it'll be another stress filled season for Dallas fans:facepalm:

They are clearing the books for Payton next season. Might as well prepare yourselves. This season will be a WASH.......McCarthy is just a stand in until next season. Payton or Quinn next season. Post it right now.
absured.

So you think the guy that has final say in all things Cowboys and is 79 years old is willing to just throw away one of the few precious seasons he has remaining>?????

CowboysZone ULTIMATE Fan
Payton: One Superbowl w/Hall Of Famer Quarterback
McCarthy: One Superbowl w/Hall Of Famer Quarterback

Big differences. MM inherited a loaded Mike Holmgren built roster with a HOF QB already on board. New Orleans was a mess when Sean Payton arrived. He built that team from the ground up.

You are right.

IMO DC is planing for 2023 and Payton. This year is a rebuilding year.

I don't like the guy, that's known, but it's pretty crappy how he's being treated.

First, it was Jerry gushing over both Peyton and Quinn as potential head coaches.

Now, we are basically gutting our roster and not replacing those guys with equal or better talent.

McCarthy has no shot.

The grass is always greener for Jerry for some reason. He's done this to almost all of his head coaches. Go down the list...

Can't speak to most of the moves so far, but I'm assuming this is a reaction thread to the Collins news.

McCarthy is one of Steele's biggest sponsors, so I'm sure he had a hand in conveying to his front office that they can get younger and cheaper at the position.

The Jones boys don't have to set up someone to fail, and Jerry is 80 years old. They just aren't good at their jobs.

They can fire whoever they like, when they like. What's gonna happen? THEY get fired?:muttley:

They don't need a fall guy. Most fans aren't going anywhere, and they know it.
