Not just because of jerry but because the nfl stopped drug test for weed.

I can only care so much about the thought and opinions of someone who threw away 52 game checks since he was drafted due to a weed addiction. Weed.

The best thing the NFL has done in the past 10 years is Lift the Ban on Weed. Imo

These players can't handle over medicating on the Dangerous Addictive Pills and Alcohol. All the craziness has dropped.

Keep in mind Gregory had some mental health issues. If he wasn't smoking that weed he'd prolly be Addicted to the Pills and Alcohol. Js

Prolly be hard to play on prescriptions than weed

That's not making your point because no other gm would've risked his job keeping Randy, Cowboys could risk it because the GM is also the owner and isn't at risk of being fired

LOL. How is it risking a GM's job to kick the tires on a former 1st Round talent. Something that probably happens several times every single NFL season. A bit dramatic, aren't you?

Again, my point is that Gregory would have had several chances beyond the Cowboys like Josh Gordon did beyond Cleveland and you respond that Gordon had shots with 5 different teams. Hence, Gregory also would have had multiple chances. You made my point for me, did you not?

Fans over the top attacking Randy are weirdos.
Fans over the top defending Randy are weirdos.

Randy responding is clown show level stuff. Arguing with dudes sitting at home eating oatmeal... for what???
He just cashed a 15M check and signed for 70M... get off twitter and go celebrate life or prepare for the darn season.

Randy feeling some kind of way about a team that offered him 70M is just another example of "maturity issues" that have held him back.

I am glad Randy got paid. Also glad he won't be collecting those big checks from the Cowboys.
Yeah I agree that it was a display of Randy's immaturity. I also hope for his sake that someone gets in his ear to save the money he's earned or manage it well. I doubt he'll get another contract so I hope he's not broke in 10 years. I hope for the best for him and I'm relieved he didn't sign with us. This is the type of immature character that hurts our culture. I think it shows weakness when players get into "Twitter wars" with fans or media outlets.

He obviously cares if he's going at it with a bunch of Twitter anons. Dude is a dork and will be out of the league in a couple years.
He obviously cares like anyone else responding to messages. Whether he cares to the degree motivating anyone denigrating or supporting him is another matter.

It is empathy and understanding people communicating with him wants. Some want him to feel guilty. Others believe their support of him will make Gregory feel some sort of friendship bond with them.

It is all wasted effort. Gregory did what he wanted and feels self-justification. What others say will not deflate or inflate his own inner sense of self-worth. Those thinking his responses are moral victories or indictments that will impact him emotionally in the end are only fooling themselves.

Again, you pulled that out your arse, prove 1 fan that's like you said.

The day you expect a fan to come out and say "I'm jealous of the money players make and need to slander them to nurse my bruised financial ego" is the day you'll see conspiracy theorists on this site come out and say, "I was only denying the loss and needed to find an excuse to show how we really didn't lose." In other words, it ain't happening. But the reasons are clear to anyone without blinders on.

Many of these fans kept rooting for his overrated, underachieving, suspended or injured @$$ even when he did not deserve it. I am glad Jerry didn’t triple down on his mistake with him.
Exactly, this isn't Reggie White we're talking about. Or Aaron Donald. He was drafted in what 2014 or 2015. How many games has he played in that time? What his ratio to possible games played to actual games played. His breakout season was 6 sacks. It's quite possible we'll get that production from Fowler or Armstrong or both. This isn't a huge loss on the field and it's one less headache off the field.

Bipolar players with Randy’s issues and history embarrass themselves in back and forths like this against anonymous nobodies on the internet, but Gregory is too dumb to see that. I wish him luck and I’m less and less disappointed to move on from him by the day. He’s never done what we all keep hoping he will and that playoff game was just horrible. We might have won if he didn’t play. That’s telling for a $14M a year player…good riddance and I hope he gets the help he needs

I liked Randy Gregory. I was rooting for him. When he left, I didn't have a bit of remorse or anger towards him.
He has to do what's best for him and live with the rewards and the consequences.
I just don't have the energy to be mad of over people's decisions that don't really impact me. That doesn't mean I have to like them or agree with them, but I find it a waste of time getting absorbed in that which I can't and don't control.
So, I wish Randy Gregory well, unless he has to play the Cowboys.

Reading some of the posts just might be deemed "toxic".

Toxic? Yes

however to act like Jerry and this organization didn’t help you is ridiculous and ungrateful

he’s alluding to the fact in his tweets that Jerry and this organization never did anything for him

he’s wrong and I can understand why people are calling him out on his bs

He’s no victim

He said he’lll always be grateful to Jerry and tge DC. But he owes absolutely nothing wrong k the fans. He’s absolutely correct when he says we are toxic. We have always been and will always be. It comes with the territory of being America's Team. It blows my mind that we are as relevant as we are because of how toxic this fan base is.
Randy got paid for the work he did in Dallas .He owes nobody anything, and The DC owe him nothing. This thread proves how right he is.

He screwed himself. Will never be invited to Cowboys functions, will never get to hang out with ex Cowboys as a fraternity and will never be a part of Broncos functions either. In retirement he can watch NFL Network though!

But he made Matt Stafford fumble on Consecutive plays and we won a playoff game we shoulda LOST. Lmao ha ha ha.

I think hes a player w great potential but is prolly being overvalued some too

He got some crucial penalties at bad times. Imo

it was the small print language he did not read in prior contracts that he read this time......and it deeply offended him...like it said we can drop all guarantees if Randy fouls a certain way?....it can be standard small

print in most cowboy contracts.....but denver ensured it was not in theirs.....it could have been easily fixed but when you have a prideful greedy stephen Jones in the way and daddy could not sweep in and save

the day...we lost Randy....100% on Stephen Jones and Daddy...but if daddy trying to give it over to son because of his advanced age....100% on Stephen Jones...sorry but he straight up doofus....and yes sometiems

us fans are toxic.....i am sometimes.....on game day i have broken TV's because of bad plays or bad officiating...that is toxic and sick

No it wasnt 100% on Stephen or Jerry. Randy wanted out because the Jones was willing to change it and he said f them. He didn't want to be here while h is fine, but don't make it look like they did something wrong, when it's been a standard practice for all players.
