It won’t be much because he won’t be here

It's 18M this year and 11M dead cap next year. Unless he takes a pay cut to stay. If he can check his pride, he'd be better off taking a pay cut next year.

So you predict that zeke will be here another 3 years and we will win the sb all 3 years?

that about sums up your laughable blind inaccuracy.

I see you Still can’t post anything without your stupid insults.
You are by far one of the worst posters on here. You add nothing.

“We like our guys”….”He’s a great teammate”….”You don’t realize what he means to this team.”
The kind of fluff that gets said after making the biggest contract blunder of all time! Still can't get over signing a RB who was starting to decline to a fat contract like that.

Players very rarely take a pay cut
I expect him to be released

He's been carrying the offense since 2016.
Look elsewhere for wastelands.......

P.S. Cowboys are 0-30 when they don't rush over 100 yards.
Lol. Good thing we have a quarterback who's been rushing more the past few years than that $90 million waste called a running back. :p

While I agree taking a RB in first was a mistake, it’s also a mistake to give a second contract to a RB or any other position if they are not elite players
Don’t compound a mistake with another mistake
Plenty of first round players are second contract worthy
He was arguably the best RB during his first contract. Zeke basically signed the contract the Cowboys offered -- they added 2 extra years so that he could say he was the highest-paid running back but he isn't going to see that money.

Can we get Goodell to fine him so we can nullify his guarantees?
Maybe he won’t tuck in his shirt a game and gets a fine. That should be enough for this clown show to void his contract

Didn’t you just insult the guy that started this thread by calling him stupid?

The only thing stupid is the guy that just predicted we would win the next 3 sb’s.

What’s more dumb……………… the same tired, accurate thread or the same tired inaccurate zeke apologists that still can’t admit resigning zeke was a huge blunder?

How can Zeke apologists still exist? I understand Amari apologists. He was still actually a decent football player.

Do you mind passing that info over to Moore?

I mean to be fair that statistic is not really as informative as people think. It suggests the Cowboys are not great at making comebacks but beyond that it does not tell you much because if you are winning you are more likely to run the ball and if you are winning you are more likely to win and if you are running more, then you are more likely to get more yards.

Basically if you are a passing team and running it then it means you are ahead and trying to kill the clock therefore those are the games you win. It does not say that trying to run it leads to winning but instead that winning leads to running.

Yeah but next year has always been the target. We finally save money by cutting him. This year we'd actually lose cap if we did it.
That's because we restructured before last season.

One of Jerry's biggest gaffes. How they went from "Our research shows you don't get the return on investment when you sign TBs to big or long term deals" with Murray to "We just made this guy the highest paid TB ever" with Elliott in just a few years was impressive.

The FO are fools. They let Murray go thinking anyone can run behind this oline. Only to waste a top 5 pick on a runningback who eventually became the highest paid back in the NFL.

right. but that's water under the bridge. a mistake that was obvious even at the time but going into this offseason, we knew what the situation was. nothing has changed so i'm not sure why all the whining is going on because he was never going to be released going into this offseason.
