He was a Linebacker.

No he wasn't. From the Pro Football Hall of Fame website:

"Randy White, a 6-4, 257-pound All-America defensive end at the University of Maryland in 1974,"

From wiki:
"White was recruited by the University of Maryland and played as a fullback for the Terrapins during his freshman year. Maryland finished the year with only 2 wins and White did little worth noting during that year. During his sophomore season, new head coach Jerry Claiborne moved Randy to defensive end"

JPP sucks, he is more done than a Turkey at Thanksgiving.

You know, instead of signing a bunch of scrubs they could put all that money together and get one stud.

But no, that is not how they do things here.

He played LB also. There is video of it on YouTube.

Many defensive players who are very good athletes, as Randy was played at a couple of different spots, but a few snaps doesn't mean he "played" linebacker.

But I'll give you your nit picking if it makes you happy....

We wouldn’t, that was my point. Fans want Wagner and seems no matter what the cost.
No other team is flocking to sign him either, so he wants big money and a long term deal.

so fans should not criticize Jerry for not having a deal done yet.

I was thinking earlier today what if he's just weighing his options

Sad, isn't it?! We're approaching three decades of mismanagement and no end in sight. It's a tough pill to swallow! Gulp.

But isn't it nice to be the most consistent team in the league? Nothing like familiarity, no wondering about the future!

When consistency equals ineptness, it's a sticky wicket to deal with. Familiarity often leads to disrespect and even, loathing. Whoa!

I feel like I can’t support this based solely on principle. This man is an enemy.

"kid you ain't getting no firecrackers for Christmas, you'll blow your fingers off" is the best Christmas story movie ever.
