Did Micah Parsons have any impact on the playoff game vs 49ers?

Dak had a negative impact, make a thread about that

We had a crap load of penalties in that game and all year. Im pretty sure 95% of those penalties were not on Dak. Dak has definitely contributed in some of our loses, but people want to blame Dak for **** he had absolutely no control over....

Like people running around on defense out of control, jumping offsides when we stop the opposition on 3rd downs, pass interference, defensive holding, etc.

Its hilarious how Dak get blamed for **** when he's not even on the field lol!!

Your first sentence makes you hard to take seriously because it seriously feels your problem with the player is a bit too personal

either way, keep in mind this defense actually held Jimmy G to 16 points before Prescott threw that idiotic interception

additionally, they gave the ball back twice under 3 minutes to win the game. Heck even LVE had one of his best plays of his career to save the game.

Yeah, as someone said earlier…..bull

The defense also gave the 49ers free first downs by committing stupid penalties on third down.

The interception Dak threw was bad, but I noticed he got hit in the face before he threw it. I wonder if that could have affected his pass. I also wonder why we never got the hands to the face call on that play.

What more can we say when the best player on the defense was the Forgotten One, Vander Esch?

Parsons didn't give up those rushing yards personally, he had a lot of help, or lack of.

When we are down to making threads about the brightest spot on the entire team in 2021, we're looking too hard for negatives.
Or we have zero football iq

I get the penalty thing but my thing with that is the offense too was committing stupid penalties as well

The penalties were a systemic problem within the team

the worst one was the holding call on 52

The so called next “LT” was pretty much obsolete vs the 49ers with zero sacks, allowing Jimmy “g” to convert 50% of third downs.

In run defense he was running around like a chicken with its head cut off and allowing 49ers to rush for over 150 yards.

His was not impressive or impactful for a guy who can do multiple things.

Parsons was hurt early in that game with a head injury after running into an offensive lineman while chasing the quarterback. That sidelined him for a bit with a concussion scare.

He also reportedly was still dealing with COVID-19 symptoms, which caused him to sit out the Week 18 matchup.

Some on here never take injuries into account. If a player is on the field, well, he must be 100 percent. Sometimes they are out there with their bell rung or even practically playing on one leg because they feel the team has a better chance with them out there than with them on the sideline. And some of them are probably right.

The defense, (with mistakes) still did enough to help the offense win the game. The loss probably was more about what our offense DIDN'T do, starting with Dak.

My recollection of this game has been purged from the memory banks just like the rest of the season enders

Hence why we need him playing @ DE........Parsons playing inside LBer is a waste of talent......and I have no problem letting Gregory go.

He’s not that great when he’s playing linebacker.

What makes him special is when he’s attacking the QB.

He’s a natural pass rusher. He’s not a natural linebacker. He still has a long ways to go in that department.

The sooner the Cowboys and some fans who for some weird reason think he’s to small understand that the better he will be for us.

The key next year though is just making sure he stays healthy since Dallas has decided to take the year off.

But the guys on ESPN & NFL network (who hate the cowboys) said that's what we have to do, play him at inside LB and sneak him around into different positions, he's a chess piece for Quinn,
you'll never know where he's going to be etc

That's what they say....So that's what half this board regurgitates.

His talent is rushing the passer, he runs around blocks in the run game creating holes in some cases, it's not that good.

"Dallas, you are now in a position where your season is about to end."

Just as painful as those Packers/Rams playoff games.

I don't see any chicken running with his head cut off in this clip, BTW.

Just got out schemed by Deebo, same thing happened to a lot of NFC Teams.

True, this is actually Trysten Hills play to make but he cant get off his block.

There's plenty of plays on the season where Micah struggles when the run comes right at him

This is the first negative thread I’ve seen on Parsons. He only had one sack in his last four games including the playoff game. He set the bar real high for himself his rookie year. If he doesn’t come out like gangbusters next season a lot of fans are going to start jumping on him. This is a very frustrated fickle fan base, No player will escape the wrath of this board if things don’t go well next season. Everyone was in love with LVE after his rookie year but that love affair didn’t last long.

One great player isn’t going to make much of a difference if everyone around them doesn’t do their part. Parsons can be taken out of some plays and teams will be more prepared for him next season. Demarcus Ware never made our defense great. To have a real good to great defense you need a number of players doing their job. There were at least a couple of games last season where Parsons looked lost at times. I just hope all the success he had this past season doesn’t go to his head. He’s going to have to play like a man possessed to better his rookie season. If he doesn’t better his rookie season some fans will be down on him.

Parsons played really well in the game and you could tell the difference when he was hurt.

He didn’t play real well. Hardly remember his name being called. He had no sacks and didn’t have a single QB hit. That was only the third game all season where he didn’t have a QB hit. It appeared to me he was starting to wear down some by the end of the season.
