Did someone honestly think that?

Many fans we’re thinking that or at least were hoping it would be something that would affect our W/L record. One fan thought it would be announcing the addition of Troy Aikman to the organization.

We truly have a dumb fan base.

A simple announcement is treated as not caring about the team. One has nothing to do with the other.

Some act like the offseason is over and no more moves will be made. You want to *****, wait till the first week in September, because that's the squad that will start the season.

I love how posters say "I'm done with this team" but then constantly post and even start threads. Do everyone a favor and be true to your word and leave.
Do you actually think things are going to be any different from now to opening day?...we will dumpster dive as usual, then hope we hit on all the draft picks, them dumpster dive some more, the comes opening day...just like the last 27 ,yes, ground hog day.

Priorities, ladies and gentlemen. Priorities. They’d prefer forging another “first time ever” partnership in the business world (to further line their grossly inflated pockets) over improving the actual team. At this point, the joke is on us for continuing to watch/care.
WELL SAID^

When you support a franchise run like a corporation why would you expect these types of big announcements to be anything more than a partnership or marketing deal?

There ya go.

This is the announcement and it was just something else for Jerry to make money from.

If you thought it was going to be something that affected the wins/losses of the team then you were once again duped by Jerry and Co.

When ya'll gonna realize that Jerry only cares about money? If we win great, but as long as the money is rolling in Jerry is happy as a lark.
Isn’t that every owner in the NFL. For example the Ravens owner is 25th in the league in cash given to players and he is complaining about the Browns owner paying Watson. He does not want to give Lamar $50 million a season. I believe every NFL team is worth over 4 billion dollars. What is scary is they have not completed the direct tv streaming deal yet. More money for their families.

Right now teams are waiting to sign free agents that won't affect the comp picks.

I'm going to wait for all the high value free agents to come off the board before I start to question the team.

I'm hoping for Mathieu, Clowney, or Hicks. Any one of those would be fine. Till then, have patience.

I like your post, but patience is something I've lost,27 years of doing nothing will beat you down... funny part is,at one time I used to feel like you... I'm pretty sure most of us did.

I've been afan since '68. Dallas was always the favorite and each year was championship or disappointment.

To make each year more enjoyable I decide to treat each year separately. Championship or not each year ended when the Super Bowl was finished. I would put that year away and only look forward to the new year.

If fans were to do this every year would be enjoyable. It's only about this year. The past is the past. That's where the patience and optimism comes from.
