Maybe since 1977 yes, however the 80 European tour at least the bootlegs i have heard were as far as Zeppelin's standards go pretty below average. Would love to have seen the 77 tour just for the inclusion of Ten Years Gone and Achilles Last Stand.
You're probably right, although I never saw and of their '79 or '80 concerts. Maybe the heavy drugs took over.

The only shows they did in 79 were 2 in Denmark and Knebworth, they also did a very small summer tour in 1980, Europe. They did have a North American tour planned which was cancelled when Bonzo passed.

One of the band members had a crush on my niece and three had Thanksgiving dinner with us. Got backstage and everything. Thought it was funny people thought I was security for them. All these girl groupies flirting with me to let them in after the concert.

As a side note, I'm going to list the opening song I first heard the very first time I saw an artist (that I remember). Many I don't remember, but a few I do recall:

Led Zeppelin - Heartbreaker
Alice Cooper - Under My Wheels
Jethro Tull - Thick As A Brick
ELP - Hoedown
