I don't think I've read any hate posts about him. Doesn't necessarily mean there are none.
I think it’s just a situation where I’m like I like the guy and had no problem bringing him back but why be upset over his departure? I can’t get upset at this group for getting rid of guys who got kicked out of the first round. We’ve been so accustom to this team just bringing the same guys back every year we don’t realize how toxic it is.

But he also got a warm welcome from someone who’s been there. Four-time Pro Bowler Amari Cooper took it upon himself to show Fehoko the ropes of life catching balls at the pro level.

“Coop is my guy. He was the first one, sort of, as the top guy, to take me under his wing. Us being a little bigger- he’s 220, normally, and I came in at 225, 227- he was one of those guys that took me under his wing and helped me out with one-on-one routes, or any routes in general. He was like, ‘Okay, sink your hips here,’ or, ‘As a DB, I see this and you would do this.’ I was like, ‘Okay, whatever you say, you’re right. I got you. I’ll just follow you any way you tell me to do.’ Obviously, it was awesome for me to have him as a mentor, and obviously, I’ll continue, hopefully, to have him as a mentor.”

Doesn't care. Sure
He gets paid top dollar to do those things. That’s logic. I already said he didn’t have emotion which is actually a big part of football. And that lack of emotion was a problem. It’s apparently much easier to just blame Prescott. You could spin it however you want. Maybe brag about his route running a little more!?

knowing your assignment and actually having emotion and a will to win are 2 very different things. Top 5 route runner?? lol this is all people got when the stats aren’t there.

its well known by anybody that knows anything about football that Amari is a top route runner in the league.

Cee Dee will excel . He will have a stellar year if Dak can deliver the passes .

You will be missed, Coop.

Everyone will understand once the season starts and CeeDee, Noah Brown, and James Washington are our Week 1 starters.

I am just thinking God + curse words. It seems really stupid that we have to replace Amari. He wasn't a chest-thumper...so gotta find someone better. Yeah..we'll see..

Nope...............its about not needing to spend 22 million on Cooper when you have Lamb on a rookie deal. Allocation of resources.

Gallup for 12 and Shultz for 10= 22 for Cooper.

Easy choice. Take Gallup and Shultz. Especially when you have Lamb already the #1.

LOL...we'll see...not optimistic. You've always underappreciated Coop because he wasn't a chest-thumper. All that matters is the end result. I am not on the same page on this one...BUT. The Draft...where Little Enos isn't as important.

To me this is quintessential Coop. Kind of non-descript, a little disinterested, some love mixed with “oh well.”

yup.

Coop is the reason he’s gone.

they won’t pay a 60+ catch WR 20 million in base.

That's pretty much where I'm at. Good player, but did he really help the team that much, or did we just get overly excited when he made a play?

I’m not the type of fan who has incredibly strong opinions about roster moves. I sort of just watch how things unfold and take it for what it is. Similar to watching a movie.

With that said, I was a bit surprised to see Amari bite the dust here and would’ve liked to see him stay. And I think he would’ve liked to stay as well.
But, what do I know?

Right. He’d underachieve with the rest of the team. Hell they could’ve got rid of more guys for all I care. I don’t know if this will work in the long run but I do believe it’s the right decision by the front office. And I’m sure Coop will have great games in Cleveland and people will rue the decision of us getting rid of him. But it was the right move and very Un-Dallas like.

Coop was a savior in 2018.

Open many times in 2021 but Dak couldn't or wouldn't make the throw.

Cooper may not have the best hands in the league, but imagine thinking a stay out of trouble, young wide receiver who is one of the best route runners in the league is a problem.
