Prisco’s grades for every pick on CBS Sports are fascinating. He gave A’s to the Cowboys for their first two picks—both of whom were seen as developmental reaches. Yet, he gave the Tolbert pick a B- when it seemed to be the best value pick for the Cowboys so far.

Meh, me no like Prisco.

Tolbert is a pick I can get behind!!! Great route runner with good hands and high IQ. I’m exciting for this one. He just told the Cowboys radio team that Dak called him a couple weeks ago, obviously prior to being drafted. I love that.
I like him too, but not so much for your reasons you mentioned, "IMO" I think he lacks in both of those areas you mentioned just a bit, I like his size and ability to go up after the ball, I think he gives us more points in the red zone for that alone.

Nice write up on Tolbert…..

Silky smooth athlete who has morphed into a monster over the last two seasons. Tolbert is a high-character prospect with skill elements that are dripping with NFL potential. He gave work to everyone he faced, including SEC cover corners at Tennessee. His three-sport background offers unique perspective to pull from at his position, and his route-running gives him a leg up in camp battles early on. His traits, talent and production should push him up the board, and dialing up th
