I would like to see the Cowboys be a little more aggressive in the middle rounds. Last year they had 3 3rd round picks and I was hoping they would move up and maybe grab Milton Williams.

This year they had 4 5th round picks and instead of moving up at certain points to grab guys who fell. I am pretty sure they could have moved up in the 3rd and grabbed Dean ahead of the Eagles. Even if it cost them 2 5ths, so what? They did not get anyone special in the 5th.

If you are not going to use Free Agency to sign good players then you better make sure you get good players in the draft.

They don't do any of that. You just named a few examples. I was thinking the same thing last year too. Sometimes players fall within reach. They don't reach out.

Next year looks like we don't lose much to FA, so this is where they can get ahead with the draft. This year is just getting back to status quo. Thibodeaux could have fell to pick 20 and the Cowboys would stay put. I'm not saying this is a bad method. I just don't like it every year and regardless of the situation.

I completely disagree with this draft strategy, we must have lost atleast 3 guys we liked in this draft because teams knew who we wanted and they jumped in front of us every freaking time.it feels like we are settling for lesser talent going by our own board because we are too cheap in FA and are unwilling to trade up and lose a couple of picks.

You can see it on their faces, Stephen and Jerry, all of this criticism along with the 26-year drought is getting to them.

Lmao what? This clown sabotaged his own franchise because his own ego will not let him relinquish control to actual GMs. He runs the franchise like a small town grocery store. This was apparent in the All Or Nothing series. There is a reason since Jerry took over the GM side of things with his family, we are one of only 3 teams to not make the NFC title game. Even spare franchises like the Cardinals have made multiple appearances. Since has has taken over that side of things, this franchise has zero road playoff wins and a measly 4 wild card wins spread over nearly 3 decades.

Yes, he's that dumb. Very dumb. The whole hillbilly circus Jones family is very dumb.
We have amateurs running our front office.
This puts us at a tremendous competitive disadvantage
With the rest of the NFL.

Kudos for what? Leaving us in a worse position than we started the offseason? Name one position group where we really improved with any certainty?

Coop was a slacker, Collins was never trustworthy, we know what Gregory was, we know what Connor Williams was even though people defended him, and who am I missing....

iif this is really true why are giving these guys big contracts? why give Jarwin a big contract when he hasnt done anything apart from a couple of games? this is all on the Jones family .

Our inactivity in free agency puts us a lap behind everyone else.
Other teams improve their overall talent while we dumpster dive.
We better have great drafts.
That's basically how we obtain talent.

I’m glad we took risks on players there not expensive so if they’ve don’t work it’s its no big hit on the cap but if they work out we got great players for cheap. IM glad we took guys with high ceilings instead on high floors

It's all true. They can't judge character.

Well he definitely does.

I see it this way.....he really just needs to clean up the penalties. If he didn't sound coachable, I wouldn't be very optimistic.

Being inside alone should help solve the need to grab, but let's see.

But he won't be some average guard....either he can't fix the grab thing and can't play, or he will be leading the league in pancakes and potentially help bring back a strong running attack.
He’s young, strong and agile for his size
He came from a relatively small program so I expect his strength to really improve by next year and he’s already strong. He did 25 reps
