Two make the team, and Farniok could lead the pack as first backup guard?

Braylon Jones, 2021 UDFA, also in the mix at center.

I seen where moving McGovern as more a full time C is a possibility. But now with all those in competition maybe not.

I think we have enough pieces to move on and let Farniok backup both guards. I would release him outright, but I would see if we could get a punt return specialist.

I thought about that, he could be bumped off the roster. I doubt a trade, because every time fans think that we can make a trade with some of the depth. It never happens.

On the other hand, since he is a solid back up, he should not be released just because his contract will be up.
That can turn into a 6th or 7th round comp pick if he is better than those camp bodies. Can always draft another OL. They always seem to select 1 or 2 anyway.

The only one I really know anything about is Malik Davis the RB out of Florida. Looked like a superstar in the making as a frosh but kinda got derailed by injuries the next coupla years. One of those guys who just has that innate ability to tote the rock.. Finds the crease.. always falls forward. VERY good receiver too. That might help him stick around..

He has some experience as a KR
Drummond had a few punt returns at a decent avg
ST is where these guys have a shot to impress

Was surprised seeing Lindstrom drop out of the draft, and was delighted that we signed him UDFA.

If you're fortunate, 1 maybe 2 of these young men impress and earn a roster spot.

I think Bell has a legit shot to make the roster, the rest there are a few I have hopes for but realistically might not work out.
