If we go into the year with him as the backup guard
He will be the starter which is a whole different thing than starter. But he has developed pretty well and last year he was better than Collins was once he came backIm more worried about terrance steele

That's trouble. Why have an incompetent backup? We’re fine if he’s a backup. We’re in trouble if he has to start.
He is willing to play FB at the goal line and short yardage.MCGovern is average at guard. I’m hoping he’s much better at snapping the ball this year so he can be the swing or at least be an option at swing. He’s not a bad backup since you aren’t often gonna have a starter quality guy at backup
You can't have all pro's at every starting position . So you definitely can't have all pro's as backups. Farniok is still a Cowboy, is he not? That's trouble. Why have an incompetent backup?

I kind of see the point you are makingYou think Dallas was 5-12 instead of 12-5 with all these terrible players on the roster.

There's a difference between flawed and trash. All backups are flawed. He’ll be gone when his contract is up.
Maybe he will improve over this past season ?If we go into the year with him as the backup guard
Go watch the Commanders and chiefs games for proof
Proof?
