Defensive End

DLaw
Armstrong
Fowler
Sam Williams
Golston (Has inside/outside flex)

Basham (Could be fighting with Hill for the last spot)

Defensive Tackle

Gallimore
Osa
Watkins (Do they keep the veteran or go with the 2 prospects?)
Ridgeway/Bohanna

Hill

Trystan Hill reminds me of a 13-year-old who constantly gets sent to detention.

I think he makes the roster and then gracelessly leaves after this year.

I'd like to see them go get Malik McDowell as their Nickle pass rusher @ DT.....guy was a beast in Cleveland last year.
I don’t think football is good for him right now. He needs some help

I feel they must keep Watkins as he's the only vet DT they have. Are we ready to let Gallimore be the old man in the room?

IMHO,
@ DT Gallimore, Odiggy, Watkins, Ridgeway are locks.
@ DE D-Law, Armstrong, Williams are locks.

That's 7 out of 10 spots filled.
The battle for the last 3 spots is between Hill, Bohanna, Fowler, Golston, Basham

I think Fowler will make it, as he brings some outside juice and a vet presence to the room. But his deal is very team friendly and could be cut at any time with little lost, so he will have to earn his spot. But I'm thinking the last 2 spots are basically head to head between Golston/Basham and Hill/Bohanna. The selection of Ridgeway hurts Bohanna's chances.

I'd keep Bo over Hill but I think they will keep Basham and Hill. They can try to get Bo (and Chauncy?) to the PS.

Obviously injuries will factor in by the end of training camp but my money is on Basham to be the odd man out. Hill vs Watson will be interesting as well. Let’s see how Ridgeway plays. Parsons is the ultimate wildcard.

Off topic answer but I have Golston at the top of my list of players who I expect to make major strides from 21 to 22.

The DL may not look great on paper but we are going to get pressure by scheme/rotation.

I trust in Quinn. The first decent football coach/coordinator in the building since Wade Phillips.

Believe Golston is more of a lock, day 2 pick selected by this staff. Fowler was handpicked by Quinn, he isn't going anywhere unless he shows nothing in camp. This leaves the last spot of Bohanna, Hill and Basham. Who has the best chance to sneak on their PS? Probably Bohanna. With the addition of Fowler and Williams, my prediction would be Hill making the team.

Remember. Golston was pretty much thrown into the fire, as he missed the entire training camp. He also offers inside abilities.

I agree, this with 2 new rushers handpicked by Quinn, Basham is the most likely to depart. Think they would rather go deep at 3T, then at NT.
